I knew I wanted to be a dance teacher since I was 5 years old. I imagined instilling my love of dance to my students all my life. My biggest win, being able to share this journey with my girl, @sophieseasilnicki .
Sophie and I are a team in life and a team in the studio.
My girl has the opportunity to be in her professional dance career in NYC full time, but she chooses to give her talents to Movements in Dance whenever she can. People always comment, " you must be so proud of your daughter!"
My thoughts, certainly, but not for her success, she worked, and trained for that. I'm most proud for the selfless, kind, and courageous daughter I have.
I am honored to be named @tremainedance 2026
Teacher of the Year. I'm thankful for every student along the way. Keep Dancing!
I share the honor of 2026 @tremainedance Performance of the Year with my daughter.
It is the brilliant choreography and staging from @sophieseasilnicki that makes the concept come to life. It is what makes my students shine. Well, that and a lot of ballet classes with a lot of heart and dedication. I am grateful ♥️ by @midmisssteph
