Official Lyric Video for our New Single, "Homerun".

This song includes positive affirmations everyone may need to hear from time to time. Here you'll find a heartfelt reflection on the journey of self acceptance and a deeper understanding of our inherent self worth.

Personally, I've struggled with the pressure to prove my worth through performance and achievement, which led to anxiety and at times, crippling self doubt.

However, through regular therapy and prayer, I've come to realize that my self worth remains constant.

My identity as a child of God is rooted in love and has unfathomable infinite value.

I believe through the continuous healing power of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, all who turn to the Lord will be healed; this includes the unseen wounds of the mind.

While my self esteem may waiver occasionally, who I am remains secure and unchanged.

"Homerun" is dedicated to inspiring all listeners to adopt the perspective that recognizing personal worth and potential are inherent and unchanging.

I hope my message is clear: worth isn't tied to success or failure, and one doesn't need to prove anything to deserve love or belonging. I hope the lyrics resonate with you as a powerful reminder to show up, take chances, and embrace your true self without fear of striking out.

I am enough.
You are enough.
We are not alone.
We are loved.

This song is also dedicated to my incredible wife and best friend, Katie Shomler. Without her I would not be the man I am today, nor could I have been capable of writing lyrics of such deep personal reflection and magnitude. I am so blessed to have such a talented, intelligent, creative, and beautiful woman by my side. She offers constant encouragement and support in every aspect of my life. I am eternally grateful for her love, patience, and companionship. Katie, when life has us down 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning, with bases loaded, and 2 outs on a 0-2 count, you are the batter hitting the walk off grand slam for the win. Katie, I love you. Thank you for everything you bring into my life.

Homerun will be out on all streaming platforms, May 1st 2026.

This song is near and dear to my heart. The lyrics take us on a journey of redefining self worth by moving away from performance, failure, and outside opinions, and toward a deeper belief that your value is already secure.

At times I've felt trapped in a mindset where every mistake counted and every success was used to justify belonging. As a result, pressure to prove my self worth led to anxiety, self-sabotage, and negative self talk.

Then I learned something from my therapist that I'll always remember:

My self worth has never, and can never change. In the eyes of my loving Heavenly Father, He has loved me for longer than I can even fathom. My self esteem may fluctuate, but how I feel does not change who I am.

Homerun is dedicated to reframing personal worth, potential and eternal identity; not as something earned, but something inherent and unchanging.

Worth isn’t tied to success or failure.
You don’t have to prove anything to deserve love or belonging.

The “Homerun” analogy is a powerful metaphor. It's not about perfection or always winning, but about showing up, taking the swing, and embracing who you are without fear of striking out.
