Artist Spotlight:

Say hello to Rob, (AKA) @midnightmarini — your favourite vinyl musical magician who knows exactly how to get the party started.

From his humble roots in Greystones, Ireland’s picturesque seaside haven, Rob has made waves all the way to London’s biggest and boldest venues such as @nighttalesldn @thecauselondon @fabriclondonofficial and @allmyfriends.uk

Rob’s journey started with his adoration for old school disco & house music . It’s clear to see the influence from New Jersey, Detroit, Chicago and NYC with Rob’s selections.

Rob has been playing with Mama’s Boy since Day 1 and has been unstoppable, keeping it authentic always.

His infectious energy and passion for making people happy is what defines him as the incredible music maker he is.

Not only has Rob left his mark with the celebrated “Purple Ice” alias, but he’s been crafting pure gold as MARINI. Producing through his label Midnight Movement, his tunes are nothing short of brilliance, in particular with popular recent release “Winter Moon”

What’s more? Rob’s got that rare gift of putting a smile on the face of everyone he meets. Friendly, genuine, and an all-round legend — he’s the kind of guy who makes every event unforgettable.

Rob will be opening up our boat party on April 26th.
Don’t miss another complete belter with this guy.

DJ Trumps: @midnightmarini ♠️

We first heard him at The Cause last summer playing a set at sunset and loved his selections. He really got the crowd jumping, so be sure to come see him spin tomorrow night!! We can’t wait to see what MARINI has in store 🦉 taken in London, United Kingdom by @midnightmarini

Across 10 years of producing and releasing music under various different aliases, I’ve been very blessed to have some of my tracks hit the 1m stream milestone but this one defo means the most.

Winter Moon is the first track I released under the MARINI alias and is still my favourite I’ve ever made. Self released by myself in 2023 with no label, no marketing budget/strategy and no promo but just trusting that good music will find its way

Here’s a 1 of 1 dubplate vinyl of the track which was gifted to me by a friend not too long ago 🌙 🌃 by @midnightmarini

Shoutout to @ashpimp, @islandtimesdeejay and @ricky_chong for the class tunes

Yesterday, the next single from my forthcoming EP Reverie was released via @egoplanet_records

The track is one of my favourites I’ve ever produced and is called ‘Luminous Labyrinth’ - The title comes from a dream I had where I got lost in a neon lit Tokyo.

Shortly after producing it, I made the rest of the tracks and developed this idea into a whole EP about dream sequences 💭🌀🌙

Enjoy!! Link in bio x by @midnightmarini
