Our names are Aaron and Samantha Salinas, and we’re the creators behind Midnight Sol! Before we became destination photographers, we maintained a long-distance relationship that challenged us with road trips, plane rides, and drastic time zone differences. The greatest help we had in overcoming our challenging distance, was the pictures we shared together. To us, they weren’t just images, but cherished memories that moved and inspired us to commit to our love.

Now, we share this feeling by providing timeless photography that story tell, and capture the feeling of love.

Welcome to the gallery of Midnight Sol. We’re glad you’re here! by @midnightsolphotography

Tschabalala & Michael’s wedding published in Vogue Weddings

“Reflecting on her wedding day, Tschabalala and Mike are of course happy that it was a joyful, energetic affair. But most of all, they’re excited about marriage itself. “On July 12, we were able to vow our commitment to one another and share space with all the most important people in our lives at one time and in one space,” Tschabalala says. “In many ways we made a commitment to them that day too, one we will keep for a lifetime.”

Midnight Sol Photography featured in Brides Magazine

This was such a special moment that we got to capture! Shannon’s wedding gown was destroyed by a house fire in 2022. She had always dreamed of sharing her dress with one of her daughters. After trying to find ways to bring the dress back to its original form, she decided to reach out to the dress designer, Pronovias, for help.

Pronovias read her story and instead of telling Shannon that it may be possible to recreate the gown, they decided to keep this project a secret in hopes to surprise her down the road with the dress.

After two years, Pronovias was able to complete a replica of Shannon’s beautiful wedding dress!

It was an honor to work with Pronovias and Brides magazine to capture this special story!

Love in Lake Como
Paola and Christian chose to begin their marriage just the two of them. Boating across the lake to receive a blessing at a beautiful church and exchanging their vows at Villa Monastero. An intimate, unhurried day that felt entirely their own.

A French estate tucked away in Oklahoma where time slowed down for Rachel & Evan’s wedding day. Nothing short of beautiful.
