finished a mini side project: the mochi trio 🥹 Moodeng the sassy hippo with a butter-pad hat, Pesto the chonky penguin with a leaf huggy, and Dot the round manatee with a red bean hat 🫘🧈🍃

it was a good opportunity to also experiment with little interactive charms, I learned a lot! working with magnets and different sized goodies was super good practice and I’m excited to make more c:

I had to funnel my obsession with these cuties into mochi-inspired desk buddies cus otherwise I can’t handle their cuteness 😔 please tell me I’m not the only one!

this cute trio will be available to order for a limited time :3 and also, don’t forget commissions are now open so that you can order all the custom goodies ☺️ by @midorume

✨ midorume is open on etsy ✨

we are so happy to announce that we have finally decided to expand our cafe, which means that not only will ship across Canada, we now are open to the US! we are taking it one step at a time and can only ship within North America, but who knows what the future might hold 🌸✨

to those within Canada, we will still be doing local orders/domestic orders through our order forms - this method is also cheaper than Etsy as it doesn’t come with extra fees and extra shipping charges 😌

we’ve been on a mini break with posting but have been working on building our shop behind the scenes, we appreciate everyone’s patience and for sticking through with us for so long! thank you to everyone for your support so far, we will continue to work hard so that we can bring all the cutest goodies to you all! 🫶🫶🫶 by @midorume

another one of Ume’s tasks: being a quality control inspector 🔎

it’s very cute how serious he takes his job, but at the same time it is stressful for the goodies and myself because of the pressure to meet quality expectations 😅

though, I am grateful that he is always pushing us to be the best versions of ourselves! what other tasks do you think Ume is in charge of? 🌸 by @midorume

Ume the baker - this is his way of helping when I’m sculpting all our sweet goodies 😅 what else should he help ‘bake’ next? ✨ by @midorume

we’ve never really gotten the chance to ever introduce ourselves behind this account so here goes… we are Ume and Rebecca, the bunny and human duo that runs Midorume Cafe!

first, we will introduce Ume - the pudgy bunny with a constant judging and bored expression who wants you to think he doesn’t really care but in fact, is probably the most soft-hearted and caring bun out there 🥲 as a small bun he is usually just chilling and watching me (Rebecca) do most of the physical work but as you’ll see soon he is in charge of all sorts of logistics 😅 but anyhow, Ume is so happy with everyone’s support so far and looks forward to continue to grow with you all on our journey together! (even though his expression might say otherwise)

fun facts about Ume: his name means plum in Japanese because he basically resembles one, with a plump body and ears that could match the leaves, only he isnt green or purple like your typical plum 🤔 and an insider tip to tell whether he is happy or excited is by the wiggling of his ears! by @midorume

when you’re bored and you start playing tic-tac-toe with some bread companions 🍞

this is inspiring me to potentially make tic-tac-toe sets for sale :’) perhaps that will be another upcoming project hehe

did you guess the right winning bread? ☺️💛 by @midorume

our chunky mochi boy pesto ready to tackle another day of being a whole unit and making his parents proud (and probably a little intimidated 😅) but don’t forget that even with his stature he is still a baby who needs his little leaf huggy! by @midorume
