Thank you to everyone who attended the Middle Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus (MIDTNWPC) Spring Fundraiser featuring keynote speaker Jerri Green (@jerrigreen4tn), candidate for Governor of Tennessee.

Together, our attendees, sponsors, and donors helped us surpass our fundraising goal, raising more than $9,000 in just one week. These funds will strengthen our efforts to recruit, train, support, and elect women while advancing equal representation at every level of government.

Now, we turn our focus to the work ahead. As election season continues, every conversation, every volunteer, and every vote matters. Make a plan to vote, encourage others to participate, and help build a Tennessee where every voice is heard and every community is represented.

Today’s the day! 🌮🎤

The Middle Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus (MIDTNWPC) is excited to join our state affiliate, the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus (@nwpctn), for its Middle Tennessee Regional Fundraiser this evening in Nashville.

Date: Tuesday, July 7
Time: 6-8PM
Location: Corner Bar South
2190A Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211

The event brings together supporters and community members for an evening of tacos, karaoke, and networking. Ticket sales are direct donations to our endorsed candidates in Middle Tennessee from school board to Governor.

Admission:
Free for current members
Suggested donation: $50 for non-members

As of today, 11 tickets have been sold, putting us more than a quarter of the way toward our event goal.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, check out Middle Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus (MIDTNWPC) President, Teaka Jackson who was highlighted and featured in the Nashville Post as part of their Women’s History Month celebrating the work of female leaders across Nashville’s various industry sectors. In the publication, Teaka shared her experiences as a legal professional, nonprofit leader, and President of MIDTNWPC.

Over 93 attendees joined us for Community and Candidates, a moderated forum connecting voters with contested candidates on the May 5 DAVIDSON COUNTY Primary Election ballot.

Held at the Tennessee Justice Center (TJC), the forum provided space for direct, substantive engagement. Attendees heard candidates address critical issues, ask questions during a live Q&A, and engage directly with candidates through one-on-one conversations and an informal meet-and-greet.

A special thank you to our moderator, multi-Emmy Award–winning journalist and communications specialist Harriet Wallace, the candidates who participated, and the TJC for hosting.

The forum highlighted a simple truth: a strong democracy relies on informed and engaged voters. With the election approaching, now is the time to take action—get involved, stay informed, support your community, and vote. Together, we can create a community where every voice is heard and every vote counts.

All candidates were invited, and those listed on the flyer have confirmed their participation. This is not a debate. It is an opportunity to hear directly from contested candidates as they share their perspectives, answer questions, and connect with the community.
