Determined. Kind. Hardworking. A GOOD time. These are the things that come to mind when I think of this member 💭 Your October 2026 member of the month is… 🥁 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼 @maggietracksmagic When Maggie isn’t at Midtown she’s busy teaching high school and middle school chorus, a music class for students living with disabilities and general education peers partners, as well as she is the choir director at her church! 🎼 Beyond teaching and leading music, She loves reading, online shopping, visiting theme parks with her fiancé, and playing fetch with her wiener dog, Bristol Annie :) 🐾 We asked Maggie: 🏋🏾‍♂️What are your favorite & least favorite movements in the gym? A: Most favorite of all time: Deadlift Most recent favorite: Squat Snatch Least favorite: Box Jumps 💪🏼What keeps you motivated? A: My motivation is to do what’s in my power to avoid diabetes and congestive heart failure, both which run in my family. I want to get the most out of life that I can and I feel my best when I am consistent! 🗣️Quote to live by: A: “Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day.” - Alice Morse Earle (1851-1911) Thank you Maggie for your bright energy, constant laughs, and commitment to your health & fitness journey! You inspire us more than you know! 🫶🏻 📸: @charlotte_fristoe_photography #midtownmovementandmedicine #gomaggiego #progress #strong #crossfit by @midtown_tlh

This stand up gentleman has been with us for over 3 years & with over 620 classes under his belt, the growth is undeniable! A staple of our 6 am class, you can catch him running like a gazelle on Monroe street or doing push ups with Mark before the whiteboard brief starts 💪🏼🏃🏼 Receiving this honor for the 2ND TIME!! Your September 2026 member of the month is… 🥁 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼 @mathewtooker We asked Mathew: 🌞Any new life changes or updates? Tell us something GOOD?! A: YES! On July 31st, my wife and I welcomed our second child, Charlotte. She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Her big brother, George, has taken to his new role naturally and their mother truly amazes me with all she does for our family. There’s a lot less sleep at home right now, but life is so so good. 🏡 🏋🏾‍♂️What movements have you improved on the most? What do you still want to work on? A: There’s not one particular movement per se, but I think I’ve built an engine to be proud of. I’ve really enjoyed our conditioning training of late. I’d like to improve my bar muscle up. I can get up there, but it’s not always pretty or consistent 💪🏼Why is CrossFit & fitness as a whole important to you? A: We only get the one body, so we had better take care of it. Fitness not only helps our bodies, but it’s also great for the mental state. Specific to CrossFit, it provides an opportunity to push yourself with the backing of a supportive community. Show up, work hard, get better, support others – it’s a simple formula that goes a long way. 📈 ❤️‍🔥If you were to get a tattoo tomorrow, what would you get? A: Ahh I’m way too chicken to ever get a tattoo. But I’ll say the Midtown kettlebell logo that looks like Jeff 😂 Thank you Mathew for your continued dedication to your CrossFit journey, we’re so glad it’s here with us at Midtown! 📸: @charlotte_fristoe_photography #midtownmovementandmedicine #gomathewgo #progress #repeat #crossfit by @midtown_tlh
