There is an art to understanding tooth engagement for properly re-shaping ARLs for siegtek gears. Each ratio bevel has a different tooth count and thus geometry of the individual teeth. Siegeteks cause a very severe angle of the ARL if space is not created on the inside of the ARL to correct this angle and introduce better engagement of the latch. Also notice how standard bevel ARL teeth have a curve along the sliding face with a sharp hook shape to latch. This can easily be introduced to the inside of the ARL to promote smoother engagement. Solely flattening the back side of the ARL is not ideal. by @midwest.tech

Airsoft work has been taking a bit of a backseat to the rest of my life for a minute since work at the school started back up. Working hard to keep myself physically and mentally strong. Preparing for my first long form milsim event. Meeting new people. Studying mathematics. Lots more work and adjustments are still needed to make sure I can build the life I want, but rest assured that I am not going away.Making a lot of great connections and progress with kids who need someone who gets them. Thankful for a lot of new people and new visions of what life can be for me.
