Time for you to meet our incredible Production Team!

Lead Producer: Shey Lyn is an actor and producer committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities. She believes that our stages and screens should accurately reflect the faces and bodies around us instead of only a chosen few. If you don't like the word equity, you probably don't want to work with her.

Producer: Lynn has been producing, acting and directing for 50 years. Note has been her spiritual church and art home for 3 decades. She is so proud to be part of this female production team for this amazing female forward show!

Producer: Jenny has performed in theaters all over LA including the Echo, Skylight, IAMA, EST and the KDT, but NOTE holds a very special place for her, being the stage where she debuted as an Angeleno. Favorite NOTE credits include: Hot Cat, Niagara Falls and Ddeb Debbie Deborah. Previous producing credits include I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Ddeb, and For the Love Of.

Producer: Sierra has been a Note "betty" for a decade! It was the home she found after moving from NYC, when she needed some intriguing, smart, challenging theatre. She is beyond thrilled to bring this story to life and share this smart script with Los Angeles.

Going lo-fi to try to cut through your feeds this Giving Tuesday.

I know this says "Thyroid Cancer" but it really looks like "Thyroid Career." I can't think of a better description of the past 3 years of dealing with our broken health care system even with "the good kind" of cancer. The labs aren't every 6 weeks anymore, just every 3 months. I only see the doctor 4 times a year. 1 tiny ultrasound if things are good. But there are always constant reminders.

My thyroid career. To be fair, it's going better than acting ever did. Way more bookings, always in demand.

Last night I howled at the moon.

It seemed to be the only way to end a night of celebrating the truly legendary life of Joseph Culliton. @indieshakes hosted a beautiful tribute and it was so special to hear people speak of his effect on their lives from his dear, sweet college roommate Saul to us, his last students.

Joe took us to church every Sunday morning for two years on Zoom. I went into the pandemic playing college kids. With Joe I got to control tempests and rule kingdoms. With Joe there were no limits and no rules... other than what the iambic dictated.

Joe inspired. I can't imagine my life without the people I met in that class. Who went all in when Alice said, "Let's put on a show!" And somehow did just that in 2021. And Joe? Joe watched the whole thing on YouTube because Parkinson's kept him from coming in person.

So we held each other in a parking lot and howled at the moon last night. And people who'd known him far longer kept joining us, a beautiful mix of old friends and new.

It was such an honor to be your student, Joe. I hope we keep making you proud. by @midwest_express
