POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

AFTER MOVIE OF SPLASHY FEN 2026 ⭐️

This year’s edition was one I will carry in my heart forever.
I keep thinking back to a little girl who stood on this same ground, wide-eyed and full of wonder… At 11 years old, I played my very first open mic here with my music teacher and best friend. I had no idea then just how much that moment would shape me.

And now, years later, I got to stand on that stage again — this time performing my own set as Mieke Chapman.
But what made it even more special was sharing it with my brother and two of my childhood best friends. There’s something so special about making music with the people who have witnessed the whole journey and seen the dream slowly come to life.

To the “Mieke Chapman crew” — every single person who supports, plays, creates, shows up, and stands with me… thank you. You are part of this dream just as much as I am.

I feel so deeply grateful that the Lord has placed this gift in my life and allowed me to share it with you.

And a special thank you to @rooross27 , my incredibly talented friend, for capturing this moment so beautifully.

Thank you, @splashyfenfest , for being part of my story.
See you next year… and one day, the Mieke Chapman crew will be on that main stage ❤️

@miekechapman has been coming to our shows since we first started touring South Africa. At our last show, she asked if she could come up on stage and I said, ‘Why don’t you come up and sing?’ She did amazing. ☀️

MY DEBUT EP IS OUT NOW!!! 💙
It feels surreal that a project I’ve dreamed about for so long is finally out in the world.

These songs are so precious to me, and I hope you love listening to them as much as I loved creating them.

Thank you for being here and for taking the time to listen. I hope you really soak these songs up. Dance to them, cry to them, find pieces of yourself in them, and make them your own. 🫶🏼

Lots of love,
Mieks! 💙

track 2: tan line ☀️

a song that has nothing to do with tan lines and everything to do with going back to the same situation, expecting a different result.
