We are flooded with stories of people who have already made it to the other side of their struggle. The neat, clean, aesthetic versions of healing. But nobody talks about the quiet, lonely madness of being stuck right in the un-photogenic middle of a transition.

The beautiful lie we tell ourselves is that we need to hide away until we have our shit together again. That we can only be witnessed when we look good on paper. But running hopelessly away from your current reality only keeps you trapped there.

If you are in the thick of a low point... pause. Feeding yourself, staying grounded, and surviving the slump is the work. You aren't broken. You are just standing where strength begins.
