I’d give it all to have an ending. I’d give it all to say goodbye.💜

As someone who has always hated endings, it never shocked me that I loved Death Becomes Her from the start. So this one hurt. It really, really hurt. DBH came to me at a point in my life when I felt stuck and unhappy and isolated. It has brought me so much joy and love and friendship and laughter and tears. Seat C114… I’ll miss you forever. I have met the BEST people who are stuck with me, friends for life. I’ve laughed and cried more than I ever thought possible. I’ve had a soundtrack to my life for the last 2 years. I’ve seen it grow and change and evolve into its best versions, all while I was trying to do the same.

I will love this show until the stars fade away in an endless night. Half the things that come out of my mouth are quotes whether people realize it or not. I take comfort in knowing that in every universe Mad and Hel are out there, living, just like the rest of us. I was able to tell @juliamat thank you for this show on Sunday, and I couldn’t have meant it more. Thank you to the creative team, thank you to the Lunt and their staff, thank you to the orchestra, thank you costumes and hair and makeup, thank you to the ensemble, thank you to the actors, THANK YOU to every madhel there ever was and ever will be!! I truly don’t have the heart the grieve you, but I will. I’ll live and I’ll rest because @thejennifersimard said so, but right now I’m going to be sappy and sad and feel it. I think that’s the moral of this story. I’m so fucking glad we did this.

Not even the Lunt flu could bring us down!! What an absolute honor it was to witness not only the last megjenn show but Megan’s last show as Madeline Ashton 😉 It’s been the honor of a lifetime to be a fan of this show in real time. The experiences I have been lucky enough to have, and the people I have been lucky enough to meet make it all even more worth it!
