Why Hualien?

Hualien is home.

Surrounded by mountains and the Pacific Ocean, it’s a place shaped by nature, local culture, and a slower way of life. From Taroko to the small towns along the coast, there’s something raw and honest about this place.

It’s where I grew up, where MIGHT began, and a place I want to share with more people.

No matter how far I go, Hualien will always be where the story starts.

為什麼是花蓮？

因為花蓮，是家。

一邊是山，一邊是太平洋。
這裡被自然環繞，也孕育著屬於自己的文化與生活步調。

從太魯閣的山谷，到沿著海岸散落的小鎮，
花蓮有一種很難形容的魅力——
原始、自由、緩慢，卻也真實。

這是我長大的地方，
也是 MIGHT 開始的地方。

我想從這裡出發，走得更遠、看見更多世界，
也想把我眼中的花蓮，分享給更多人。

無論走了多遠，去過多少地方，
花蓮永遠是家，
也是一切故事開始的地方。

MEET MIGHTY

Mighty 是一隻兩歲、出生在台灣的米克斯，也是 MIGHT 故事裡很重要的一部分。

一年前，我領養了他。從那之後，我們一起生活、旅行，也一起探索很多未知的地方。

某種程度上，Mighty 就代表著 MIGHT 的品牌精神——自由、好奇，以及勇敢探索未知。

他不在乎目的地，只享受每一次出發。

接下來，我們會一起帶著 MIGHT 環繞台灣，帶著咖啡去不同的地方、遇見不同的人，繼續看看這段旅程會把我們帶去哪裡。

這不只是我的旅程，也是我們的旅程。

Mighty is a two-year-old mixed-breed dog, born in Taiwan, and an important part of the MIGHT story.

I adopted him a year ago. Since then, we’ve been living, traveling, and exploring the unknown together.

In many ways, Mighty represents the spirit of MIGHT — freedom, curiosity, and the courage to explore the unknown.

He doesn’t care about the destination. He simply enjoys every journey.

Now, we’re taking MIGHT around Taiwan together — bringing coffee to new places, meeting new people, and seeing where the road takes us.

This isn’t just my journey. It’s ours.

屏東的第二個早晨，
走到海邊，望著眼前整片藍，突然有種說不上來的感動。

以前想過好多次，帶著狗、開著車，在陌生的地方醒來，慢慢過自己喜歡的生活。真的走到這一天，才發現心裡還需要一點時間，才能跟上已經改變的日常。

生活還有很多不確定，我也還在找自己的節奏。
但那一刻，看著海，忽然很期待接下來的日子。

原來以前說的「有一天」，已經是我正在過的今天。

On my second morning in Pingtung, sunlight woke me up.
I walked down to the shore, looked out at all that blue, and felt something I couldn’t quite put into words.

I’d pictured this so many times: traveling with my dog, waking up somewhere new, slowly building a life I loved. Now that I’m here, I’m realizing it takes a little time for it all to sink in.

There’s still so much I haven’t figured out, and I’m still finding my rhythm.
But standing there, looking out at the sea, I felt excited about what comes next.

The “someday” I used to talk about is the life I’m living today.

環島走到屏東，在海邊被陽光照醒。
睜開眼就是整片大海，忍不住想：哇，我真的在過以前想像的生活了。

一個人看著海，也跟自己聊了很多。
那一刻才真切感覺到，人生真的翻到下一章了。

這樣的生活還不太習慣，但也慢慢找到自己的節奏。
突然很期待，繼續往前走，還會遇見什麼。

Somewhere along my trip around Taiwan, I woke up to the sunlight and the sea in Pingtung.

All I could think was, “Wow. I’m actually living a life I used to imagine.”

Sitting there alone, I had a quiet conversation with myself. That’s when it really hit me: a new chapter of my life has begun.

It still feels unfamiliar, but I’m slowly finding my rhythm.
And I’m excited to see what’s waiting further down the road.

Still missing those mornings in Taitung.

這幾天整理照片，
又開始想念台東的早晨。

醒來，爬下車頂帳，
Mighty 在旁邊，
打開車門，就開始過一天。

沒有什麼特別的安排，
光是待在那裡，就覺得很好。

以前總想著要去更多地方，
但真的出發之後才發現，
有些地方會讓你想多留幾天，
連離開了，都還惦記著。

台東就是這樣。

看著照片，又想回去過那樣的早晨了。

Still missing those mornings in Taitung.

I’ve been sorting through photos these past few days,
and they keep taking me back.

Climbing down from the rooftop tent,
Mighty by my side,
opening the car doors and easing into the day.

No big plans.
Just being there felt good.

I used to think travelling was about seeing more places.
But once I hit the road,
I realised some places make you want to stay a little longer.
And even after you leave, they stay with you.

Taitung is one of those places.

Looking at these photos makes me want to wake up there again.

先在景福宮附近跑了 5K。

第一次來到這座城市，
還不太認得路，
就用跑步的方式慢慢認識它。

換了個地方，
還是喜歡這樣開始一天。

Right person, wrong time.
真的有這回事嗎？

今天去看了 Henry Moodie 的演唱會。很少有一個歌手的歌，我幾乎每首都會唱，所以知道他要來，就決定一定要去。最想在現場聽的，還是〈Right Person, Wrong Time〉。

以前的我很相信，有些人明明很適合、也很喜歡彼此，只是剛好在錯的時間遇見。

但現在我會想，如果真的是對的人，真的會有錯的時間嗎？

工作、距離、夢想，還有各自對未來的打算，這些問題不會因為相愛就消失。只是如果兩個人都想留下，應該會願意一起想辦法，慢慢走過去。

所以那些我曾經以為是「對的人，錯的時間」的人，也許只是那段日子裡，適合彼此的人。

Maybe they were just the right person for that time.
