Another @blerdcon in the books…

Year 9.
Nine years of building a home for blerds to pull up, be loud, be brilliant, be unapologetically Black, nerdy, creative, and completely ourselves.

And yeah… this one was special.

Serving as Director of Operations is equal parts pressure, purpose, and pride. A whole lotta behind-the-scenes grind, long nights, pivots, and “alright, who moved this?” moments — but seeing our people show up and own that space every single time? Worth every bit of it.

Got to chop it up with @redmangilla, @godfreycomic, and @zaziebeetz, which was wild in the best way… but the real flex will always be what BlerdCon has built: a safe space for us. For the culture. For the community.

Much love to my BlerdCon family. We’ve been making magic for a minute now. @mighty.mauricio @gymleaderbrock @urgrlzonmydeckagain @o_p_i_i_e_u_m_ @blerdcon @_alchemyash @blerdconhilton @djskrape

Year 9 was fire. Year 10? #SLAM

And with the pro wrestling theme on deck… yeah, we about to come off the top rope with it.

Until next time… stay geeked, stay solid, and stay ready. taken in Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport by @mighty.mauricio

Finally awake from my 14 hour nap after getting back from @blerdcon.
I don't know who has our pictures, but I have to shout out my folks from the Party/Music teams. It's hard to see from the outside because our jobs look fun and we don't crack under pressure, but we miss most meals and any real sleep just like the best of them.
Thanks to _alchemyash, @djskrape and @koopadakidofficial for reviewing, vetting, scheduling, and on-site wrangling all of our DJs this year. It's not an easy or fast process at all. Thank you @saffyslays for being on point and extremely helpful the entire weekend. When we were all getting pulled in different directions, we knew we could count on you to take the wheel. Thanks to @djhailak for spinning literally every night, Wednesday through Saturday. Thank you to @iammusiceyeq for helping get some dope musicians, and managers, to the stage during the parties for us (And thank you all for hopping on the mic and being chill people, @moonprivzte, @yellowkidslanty, @wolfflowofficial, @redmangilla, @juelznotsantanaa, @genwunnr, and @blvck.bunnie).
And for keeping the parties moving, thank you, @soledidit, @djdav3_, @thatdjvega, @djhailak, @koopadakidofficial, and @djskrape!
And last but definitely not least, huuuuuggge shout out to my homies moonlighting as party security after running around working all day 😅, @gymleaderbrock and @kingbeez, (@urgrlzonmydeckagain was getting twerked on). taken in Blerdcon by @mighty.mauricio

I'm late with this, as it is the 47th time I've seen it, but I figured I'd finally take a picture 🫠 taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @mighty.mauricio

I wasn't going to post this one because it's short, I started after the intro and stopped before it picks up, but I finished the last episode of this season of Demon Slayer the morning l left to go set up @blerdcon, so it only felt right to share this moment.

Y'all already know how the Terrible Twosome get down! I ain't even got to show up on time to make sure things are running smoothly because these cats are on autopilot Saturday night at #Blerdcon. Each year our parties only get better and better and this year was no exception. taken in Blerdcon by @mighty.mauricio
