Wow. This pic brought back some memories and a few tears, honestly. This is me and my pup Bailey from when I first moved to California from Atlanta. So much has happened since then. I'll always miss Bailey; she was one-of-a-kind, all-loving, three-legged pup. Sometimes I think about posting a short series about the stories in my life so friends can see what makes me me. So many ups and downs, but it's a beautiful life. This pic represents the start of a new life in a new city (LA) where I knew no one. I just needed a change. Though I was only 33, I was tired and burnt out from my life in Atlanta. I owned my first house, and it kept getting broken into every year, so I felt unsafe in my own home. Work was good but taxing, and I worked more hours than I lived. Some relationships ended due to families not approving of my skin. The toughest thing, though, was leaving my friends in Atlanta. I had some great ones, but the move was the best thing I ever did for myself. Cheers to the guy in this pic. I am so happy at this moment ❤️

Also, hiking up Runyon Canyon with a three-legged dog means you are carrying the dog half the time lol

Stolen Phone Part 2:

This person likes to hit the SF clubs, lol. You can see where my phone is live on this website. At this point, I think the phone was stolen, and I probably will not get it back. The phone has been off since Thursday of the Burn. It can be tracked since it keeps enough battery available for the "Find My" app to let other iPhones triangulate it. The downside is that the Find My app only works for the phone's owner, so I built an app that takes a screenshot of the Find My location and sends it to my server and a website whenever the location changes. It checks every 20 seconds. I also added the "route" tab to my site so you can see where the phone has been. I unfortunately can't make the phone make a sound, so even if someone were to go to the location, it would be hard to track down since it's off and that sound can't be made 😢 taken in San Francisco, California by @mightyj

**Lost Phone (now in SF): My phone was taken out of Burning Man to San Francisco. It's been sitting and pinging from a location in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. Does anyone know anyone in this area? Funny enough, it's on a street I used to live on when I lived in SF. It may be in a car, and I am hoping someone brought it out to return it after unpacking from the Burn. It has moved a few times but always comes back to this location. Do any of my San Francisco friends know anyone in this area? Direct message me. QT with my QT ♥️

1. Thanksgiving day! We made a stop in Solvang, a California town based off Denmark!
2. & 3. We made a stop in Pismo Beach to have a picnic during sunset to eat our Whole Foods Thanksgiving dinner!
4. Day 2! Santa Cruz pier where I saw the most seals of every size I have ever seen in my life! We also stopped on the beach to watch some pro and open level beach volleyball players! It was a nice surprise and fun to watch! We also went to the Monterey aquarium and the Monterey tree lighting this day. It was my first ever tree lighting event (not pictured)!
5. Day 3! Pebble Beach as part of the 17 mile driving tour in Monterey!
6. Granite Beach also part of the 17 mile driving tour!
7. More of day 3! Bixby Creek Bridge in Big Sur!
8. Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur!
9. The Keyhole Arch at Pfeiffer Beach!
10. McWay Falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns state park also as part of Big Sur!
11. & 12. We did a small hike on Partington Cove Trail within Julia Pfeiffer Burns State park which lead us to the water for sunset! On day 3 we also visited Carmel for dinner which is not pictured :/
13. Day 4! Heading back home! Downtown San Luis Obispo!
14. Bubblegum Alley in SLO! Chewed gum everywhere you step and everywhere you look!

Although we took lots and lots of photos, many more views and special moments not pictured!!
