I’m done staying silent, my story needs to be heard. I’m choosing to speak up, and stick up for what is RIGHT. I may lose my job at Disney, but I no longer care. I’m done being silenced. For the last few months, I have really tried to make it work with The Walt Disney Company. I did everything I was supposed to do before I returned to Disney this year. I had all my medical accommodations documented by myself AND my doctors, and turned them in to Disney’s Health Services. Under the ADA, I have a right to all my accommodations, as a disabled individual. Since I got here, Disney has refused to accommodate me, in multiple ways, but the most prominent being with my sitting accommodation. I am required to sit at least every 30 minutes, due to my mild spastic Cerebral Palsy, other symptoms, and chronic fatigue. Disney has refused to meet this accommodation, regardless of multiple complaints and meetings. I have been told by leadership VERBATIM, “if you need accommodations or you are chronically ill, maybe Disney is not the place for you.” Last night, after being put in positions that do not allow me to sit as often as needed, I passed out 3 times (one time in the arms of one of best friends), hit my head, and started having convulsions. When I got to the hospital and I was checked out, I was told this happened as a result of standing for too long, a direct violation of one of my accommodations. (You can see this on the paperwork)
This is unacceptable. If you are considering joining the Disney College Program and need accommodations, be very wary. Please know what you are getting yourself into. I am so incredibly sorry I didn’t warn everyone sooner, but I was genuinely trying to figure out how to save my job. I now realize it’s more important to speak up, because without doing so, more people will get hurt. THINGS NEED TO CHANGE. And if change starts with me speaking up, then so be it. Right now I am focusing on my recovery, and what comes next.

12 weeks of Lorelai 💛
Every night I go to sleep thinking I couldn’t possibly love her EVEN MORE tomorrow, but somehow, when I wake up the next morning- I do.
In the recent weeks, Miss Lorelai has figured out how to smile at mommy and daddy, purposefully. She loves time on her play mat, but only if she’s belly up! Tummy time has been rated a 1/10. Little girl has also become obsessed with her colors! She especially loves the colors red & yellow at the moment, and she thoroughly enjoys bath time! I don’t know where in the world the last 12 weeks went, but I’m so grateful for each and every week. I wish more than anything I could freeze time, but I cannot wait to see who my girl grows to be! by @mightymorganl

Did you know that many patients in local hospitals never receive a single visitor during what may be one of the hardest times in their lives?
That’s exactly why I’m doing this. ❤️
As a reminder, I’m collecting donations to put together care packages for adult patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Last year alone, my husband and I were able to donate 63 care packages, plus a few extra items, thanks to the generosity of the people who donated!
This year, our goal is to provide 50 or more care packages, and we’re on the right track! We’ve already received some incredibly generous donations, and we’re so thankful for everyone who has contributed.
If you’ve been thinking about donating, we’d love a few more contributions to help us reach—and hopefully exceed—our goal. Every donation matters and helps brighten someone’s day, serving as a reminder that they’re not alone during a tough time for them.
