30 hands-free leads sold and four 5-star reviews in our first month 🥹

That’s a pretty big deal to me! Plus, black and navy blue are completely sold out!

Around 90% of those sales came without ads, which makes me so grateful for everyone here supporting what I do.

This lead started with me needing my hands free for treats while keeping Tiga attached to me. Seeing other dog owners choose something I designed for our own walks feels pretty special.

Whether you’ve ordered, shared a Reel or recommended Mighty Tiga to a friend, thank you 🫶

And if you’ve been eyeing one, you can explore the colours and read the reviews through the link in my bio.

Changing your lead length mid-walk shouldn't mean stopping and fumbling around.

Give your dog more room to explore on an open trail, then shorten the lead when passing another dog. You can adjust it on the go, without even having to stop.

Some important specs: you can easily make the leash shorter (perfect for when you need to pass another dog), we use strong carabiners (your dog will not escape), soft equestrian rope (goodbye rope burn), our adjusters do not slide when your dog pulls (because who wants their waist choked?!)

$1. Getting too attached to my original product design. I spent so much time developing my original hands-free leash adjuster that I didn't want to admit there might be a better way to make it. Looking back, I wish I'd been more open to adapting and improving things sooner. 2. Assuming that saving time would cost too much money. I used to measure rope by laying it out on the floor. Yes, even the 10m long lines. I finally bought a 50$ rope roller and measuring is now 10 times quicker. And I also manually copied every single customer's address into Australia Post because I assumed shipping automation apps would be expensive. Turns out, some are FREE. I just never bothered looking. 🫠 3. Opening an Etsy store. I thought Etsy would be the perfect place to sell my handmade leashes. Instead, I struggled to get traffic, even with paid ads, while competing against mass-produced leashes selling for a fraction of my price. Add Etsy's fees on top, and it just wasn't worth it for me. Running a small business is basically one big learning curve. Some lessons cost time, some cost money, and some manage to cost you both. 😂 I'm sure I'll make plenty more mistakes along the way, but hopefully I'll get a little better at learning from them! Fellow small business owners, what's something you wish you'd done differently? 👀 #smallbusinessstruggles #smallbusinessaustralia #doggear #handsfreedogleash by @mightytiga$

Not really the cinematic footage I was hoping for... 😅

Adjust it on the go and stays in place when your dog pulls ☺️

We got some requests for a tutorial on how the lead works. I hope this demonstrates it clearly!

We get it. Our leash isn’t cheap. So let's break it down.

Do you think $90 AUD is too much for a handmade hands-free leash? by @mightytiga

bcos being able to adjust your leash mid-walk just makes sense

Hoping one day I can quit my 9-5 and do this everyday 😊
