Another Scrapaganza weekend has gone by in a blur! Thanks to @scrapshotz 💝💕💝 for organizing another fabulous event (💦 water adventures included — everyone handled it like a champ 😅). I appreciate all the vendors who put in countless hours to attend with their booths. It truly makes the event extra special.
My table space craftastrophe in the final hours was definitely messier than is normal for me. I just always have way too much fun visiting and shopping. Crafting is an afterthought. Haha. Until next time, friends!

Appreciation post incoming 💛: @krisandmads Maddie, thank you for your ambitious side quests and willingness to tackle “hard things” when it comes to literature. I think we all conquered a behemoth of a classic and, regardless of whether or not we left the conversation loving this book, I absolutely know we all left feeling like we’d experienced some sort of united (dare I say, collective 🤔😉 ) book “magic” together. You gave up precious extra moments of your time to discuss with us live. I am forever grateful.

Thank you to the inspiring group of readers participating in this Brothers Karamazov experience (including two virtual meet-ups), over the past three weeks. Can you believe we did this?! WE DID THIS!!! Tonight was an absolute culminating celebration of multiple perspectives shared within a safe, intellectually stimulating, and encouraging space - pretty much with complete “strangers” (I say strangers with absolute fondness because belonging to the same Kris&Mads bookish space has to count for something, right?). Sometimes these little slices of the internet truly restore my faith in humanity (which is pretty on-theme, considering the focus of our attention, if you ask me).

To @abby.tait.reads — you were a phenomenal moderator for our virtual discussion. I love how encouraging you are, making everyone feel like you’re our own personal cheerleader. This was also true within the chat space on Discord. You and @abbeymaeriereads are masterful when it comes to online discussions that are both organized and engaging.

This is one reading experience I won’t soon forget.
I’ve tackled Ulysses (back in Uni) and now The Brothers Karamazov (my first Dostoyevsky - what was I thinking?! Haha) …my life is complete. 😅

(1) I taught an “I Believe in Big Adventures” mini-folio class during the @scraphappyorg Reunion this past weekend in Saskatoon! Of course I had to include some whimsical Lindsy touches (including punny sentiments). 🫐🫈 I also curated and printed my FIRST ever papers/ephemera for the class. I think everyone had a lot of fun!
(2) As a group we also had a ‘seed packet’ exchange. It was fabulous receiving all the different designs. Of course I went a bit rogue when choosing my favourite flower. 🤭 by @migimon2002

Last weekend’s relaxation “fiesta” in Regina. Apparently - based on the pics I took - it appears we merely drank margs, ate, drank coffees & dirty sodas (delivered…because we could), went book shopping, and ate some more! 🤣 But it’s all the bestest of times when visiting with friends.
I’m also lucky I didn’t get arrested for having to wear dad’s sweatshirt in Rider Country (in the ice cold restaurant). Bahaha 🏈 by @migimon2002
