SYNOPSIS

Lahab is from Morocco and lives with his daughter and his german wife in a foreign country, which is Germany. Work and the daily routine in his family let him pursue his muses just at night. His studio is shelter, inspiration and refuge after times of excesses and exhaustions, till his intense double life forces him to make an urgent decision. Shall he exchange his love of the fine arts, home country and alcohol for a conservative family life?

لهب ينحدر من المغرب ويعيش مع طفله وزوجته الألمانية في بلدٍ غريب عنه. لا يترك له العمل أوالحياة الأسرية وقتًا لمتابعة شغفه الفني إلا خلال الليل. أصبح مرسمه ملاذًا آمنًا، ومصدرًا للإلهام، وملجأً بعد ليالٍ صاخبة. لكن حياته المزدوجة بين مسؤوليات الأسرة وحريته الفنية تستهلك الكثير من وقته، حتى يجد نفسه أمام قرار مصيري:
هل عليه أن يتخلى عن حبه للفنون الجميلة، والوطن، والكحول، ليعيش حياة أسرية محافظة؟

Lahab stammt aus Marokko und lebt mit dem Kind und seiner deutschen Frau in einem für ihn fremden Land. Arbeit und Familienalltag lassen ihm nur in der Nacht Zeit seinen Musen nachzugehen. Sein Atelier ist Schutzort, Inspiration und Zuflucht nach Exzessen, bis ihn sein zeitintensives Doppelleben zu einer Entscheidung zwingt. Die Liebe zu den schönen Künsten, zur Heimat und zum Alkohol soll er gegen ein konservatives Familienleben eintauschen?

Lahab est un Marocain vivant avec son enfant et son épouse allemande, dans un pays qu´il lui est étranger : l´Allemagne.
Le travail et la vie quotidienne avec sa famille ne lui laissent que peu de temps pour se consacrer à sa passion artistique. Pour lui, son atelier n’était autre qu’un abri et un échappatoire à toute lassitude de la journée, jusqu'à ce que sa double vie intense le force à prendre une décision pour sauver sa vie de famille ou l´abandonner pour sa passion de son art.
Est ce qu´il devrait échanger son amour des beaux-arts, de patrie et d'alcool contre une vie de famille conservatrice ordinaire?

Instead of separating tasks into fixed roles, the whole ensemble works together on every part of the production—from #dramaturgy and #writing to #stagedesign and #performance. This shared creative process gives their work a unique synergy and makes every production the result of many voices coming together.
Elina performed with #FAKTtheater in one of their productions at the @ost_passage_theater . Her performance blended naturally with the ensemble's collaborative approach, adding sensitivity and strength to the piece. تناول عرضهم "MS-Abgrund"، من بين موضوعات أخرى، قضيتي #العنصرية و#رهاب_الأجانب في ألمانيا، بجرأة ووعي فني. ولا يسعنا إلا أن ندعم هؤلاء الفنانين/الناشطين الصاعدين (Artivists)، الذين يوظفون الفن لطرح الأسئلة ومواجهة الواقع.
