I never could have imagined that I would have represented my little island in such a big stage. It was such a blessing being in the presence of such great athletes, and for that I will forever be grateful. If there's one lesson I know I've learnt, it's to truly appreciate each day as it comes because I never know if I'll ever be here again. I'm just so truly grateful that the Lord has given me more opportunities like this to grow more as an athlete, and as a person. Congratulations to the Antigua Male National U23 Volleyball Team on their second place finish in the ECVA tournament. 🥈🇦🇬
It may not have been the result they hoped for, but watching these young men celebrate every win like it was a finals showed just how much this sport means to them. Their raw emotion after the championship match proved one thing, the best is yet to come.
It was an honor capturing their journey, and I can’t wait to witness the greatness ahead for these young athletes and for volleyball in Antigua. 🏐✨ by @miguel_plugo
