Can’t believe we made it to our 1 year wedding anniversary! 🙌❤️🎉

Honestly, this deserves to be celebrated because, ain’t gonna lie, being married is a whole other level of existence! 😂❤️

Our honeymoon stage didn’t last as long as we thought it would lol. Reality hit pretty quickly, and suddenly we were learning the true meaning of compromise, patience and adapting to each other’s cultures, personalities and ways of life.

Let’s just say we’ve witnessed World War 5 and somehow survived it! 😂😂💥

But jokes aside, this past year has taught us so much about each other and ourselves. We’re two people with very strong personalities, different backgrounds and our own ways of seeing the world. We won’t always agree, but we’re learning to understand each other better, give each other grace and meet halfway.

Marriage has shown us a whole new level of commitment. It’s not just about the happy moments, romance or beautiful memories. It’s about choosing each other when things get difficult, learning from our mistakes and remembering why we chose each other in the first place. ❤️

Amongst all the chaos, we’ve shared laughter, created beautiful memories and learned things about each other that dating could never have taught us. There’s something special about having someone beside you through the different seasons of life, knowing that you’re both still learning, growing and figuring it all out together. ❤️

Baby, we might not have marriage all figured out, but one thing I know is that love is more than just a feeling. It takes effort, understanding, forgiveness, faith and a commitment to keep showing up for one another, even when life tests us.

With our prayers, God’s guidance and a little bit of patience (okay, sometimes A LOT of patience 😂🙏), we’ve made it through our first year, and that alone is worth celebrating.

Here’s to year one, more adventures, more laughter, embracing our beautiful cultural differences and a lifetime of love. ❤️🥂

Happy 1st wedding anniversary to us! We made it, baby! And we’re just getting started. ❤️🙌🎉

We went to try the best Mici! 🇷🇴❤️

My husband had been talking about this Romanian food stand in our local town for a whole week, so we finally went to see what all the fuss was about!

Honestly, the food was 10/10! 😍 Absolutely delicious and such a fun little date together. Sometimes the best food spots are right in your local town! ❤️

Almost a year of marriage and the romance is still up there… just not always in the way you’d expect. 🌹😂😭❤️ #romanian #tamil #tamilreels❤️ #balkan #tamilcomedy by @mihai.mathiny

I don’t care what anyone says, a room with a view makes the entire holiday. I am absolutely not paying my hard-earned money just to stare at the side of a hotel wall. If I’m traveling, I want to see the destination. End of story. ✈️🌅 #travelcontent #hotelreview #holidaytips #couplestravel #explorepage by @mihai.mathiny

Hubby made the absolute best steak ramen! 🍜 I named it the ‘Royal Ramen.’ My job? Eat, peel a few eggs, and handle the cleanup which only cost us a glass or two 😎. Hope you love this video! I don’t care how you build the memories, just build them however you like. ❤️ Life is too short to worry about how it should look to anyone else. Make them beautiful, make them messy, make them unforgettable. Just make them yours. ❤️❤️❤️ #londontrip #interracialcouple #littlemoments #tamil #romanian by @mihai.mathiny

It’s never too late to be nice 😎. Today I am teaching my husband the “simple act of kindness “🥰 .
