Our family spent Christmas back in the hospital (only for 24hrs) yet Christ still showed up for our family🎄

We won the fight to bring him home. Now the prayer/work is keeping him home safely 🙏🏾

As we wait for Medicaid approval for nursing and medical equipment, we’ve been adjusting to the reality of 24/7 care while continuing to show up for work and future opportunities at employment. It’s an exhausting privilege—but one we don’t take lightly.

We’re deeply grateful for a one-in-a-billion village supporting a one-in-a-billion child with #CCHS,(more info at @cchsnetwork) potential Neuroblastoma, and severe hirschsprung disease . At the same time, we realize our new routine isn’t sustainable without the right support in place. Without #TeamMars support.

Now we’re asking to bridge the gap—covering nursing and essential equipment—so dad (aka papi 😉) can fully step back into work and do what I do best to provide for our family.

This holiday season, our wish is simple: keep Mars home, safe, and surrounded by love as we step into a new chapter of progress and possibility.

Thank you to the 700 nurses, 40-60+ doctors, residents and fellows, 35 Respiratory Therapists, over 3-5 Occoputational & Physical therapists, our two social workers, and countless other medical staff at @childrensatl that made this possible.

Where do I even start?!

Well first thank you to all my friends and family for LITERALLY holding me up and together through this past year. I am at a loss for words for how grateful I am for you guys. I have cried the hardest I have ever cried in the last few months and a majority of those tears have been tears of gratitude for the people God has put in my life 🥹

My Jesus year has been one for the books FOR SURE and through this suffering that I wouldn’t even wish upon “the evil one” himself. God continues to shower me with gifts of joy and peace through the people I love.
