My favorite weekend of the year at @proactiondance with @coltscheer 🩷🤩 so grateful to dance alongside such incredibly talented performers and represent the colts!! It’s been over 10 years since I first joined my college dance team and I am so amazed at how far this dance team journey has taken me! I loved meeting every single dancer and choreographer this weekend - thank you for inspiring me and creating such a fun environment! I’m in my fifth season as an NFL cheerleader (and I spent 3 seasons as an NBA dancer before that!) and I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that yes, your body does change as you get older and that’s ok!! However, it does NOT mean that you can’t keep up with girls who are freshly out of college! But in order to keep up, I’m having to invest a lot more time and energy into stretching, drilling skills, etc than I did in my early 20s. just because you may feel “older” than other dancers does not mean that you can’t keep improving, you may just need to train differently! #nflcheerleader #nflcheer #cheerleader #dancer #dance @coltscheer by @mika2864
