What a weekend!! I’m still processing ALL that God did! Amazed at what happens when the people of God come together under one roof! I was so inspired by my brothers and sisters. My heart needed this time more than I realized!! Thank you to everyone who made @theguildconference possible! From hearing the healing melodies of Julie Clark, getting blasted by Andy Squyres, making new friends with @christaaolson @hi.danavogel, raps at the table with @_careyk, worship🔥🔥🔥 @themccraybrothers @gregthemoore @iamchristopher.m, being wowed by the words of @sharlenealicep @jessray @joshualukesmith @zachwinters_ and so many others, to closing out the time at @theguildconference with a CREATIVE word from the marvelous @lanellgrant. 2026 @theguildconference… Can’t wait to be back with the Fam! by @mikalaruth

16 years… it has been a long time!! A long time since I’ve seen you face to face, heard your voice & laugh, hugged your neck, or heard you sing out a song to Jesus! My mom was one special gal and I sure do miss her! You sure did live a life full of ETERNAL PURPOSE, GRACEFUL SERVICE & LASTING LEGACY! You encouraged me to love Jesus with all my heart and trust in Him! Guess What, Mom?! That’s what I’m learning to do more and more everyday! Thank you & I love you!
Often times, my mom would quote the verses below. In honor of her and the impact she had/ still has on my life and so many others, I hold onto them and most importantly the relationship that I have with Jesus! As you read the Bible verses below, I pray that something sparks inside of you!

Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Happy Monday!! I pray that you know God’s love!! I pray that I walk more confidently in His love for me and those around me. This song has been on repeat in my mind a lot lately. I felt compelled to pause after church and spend a little time declaring this song over myself and others. It is a little rough of a recording 😉, but I pray it blesses you.
“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 7 years… it’s been a long time since you went to be with Jesus and yet it feels like yesterday! I miss you both immensely! I think sometimes about life and if you were here and what you would be doing. Sister, I love you and I wish you were here! Brother Brad, I love you and I wish you were here! It is hard not having you here, so I celebrate you, I remember you, your sweet embrace… I can still feel, your smiles I can see, the fun that you both brought into spaces was contagious, your love for good music was 🔥 and your senses of humor could lighten the mood in a room. You were both sooo different and yet your love for Jesus brought you together along with many others. I know you would be sooo proud of your kids and their crews!!! They are amazing and carrying you wherever they go! I carry you both in my heart and honor you today! Here’s to you!! Life is crazy sometimes and things happen that don’t always make sense. I can only look to Jesus and cling to Him! He’s never failed me and this was a time in my life where the tangible presence of God carried me through. He really is faithful, He really is close to the brokenhearted and He really does bring joy from the mourning. I’m grateful that He is walking with me through the ebb and flow of this life!! 🕊️❤️🙏 🥹 As you read this, may you know He is near to you!! by @mikalaruth

Happy Father’s Day, Pops!! I love you and miss you! You will always be a legend in my heart! This video is from my dad’s 85th birthday party. He loved singing this song with some of my brothers. They hadn’t sung it in a few years and I just love watching the delight it brought him. 🥹❤️😂. It makes me smile listening to it. It is also a reminder for me that no matter how old you are you should keep doing the things you love! My dad kept moving and shaking things and doing what he loved… day by day and year after year!
