Growing up, we never talked about building legacy.

I was taught the basics: go to school, get a good job, work hard and climb the corporate ladder. But now that I have a daughter, I can’t imagine her having to navigate life the way I did… I’m willing to trade my todays to build her tomorrow💕

Parents, what we do in this lifetime can either give our little ones a head start in life or leave them starting from scratch.

One of my biggest goals isn’t just to give my girls more than I had…

It’s to raise daughters who are mentally strong, emotionally secure, and prepared for life.

Providing financially matters. I work hard so they don’t have to experience many of the struggles I did.

But as Coach Mimi shares in this conversation, money alone doesn’t build resilience or emotional intelligence.

Our kids are watching us.

They’re watching how we respond when life gets hard.
They’re watching how we handle disappointment.
They’re watching whether we keep our word, control our emotions, take responsibility, and keep going when things don’t go our way.

Our children don’t just become who we tell them to be.
They become who they watch us become.

So yes… build the business. Build the wealth. Create opportunities.

Just don’t forget to build the people who will inherit it.

The goal isn’t just to make money. It’s to learn how to make your money work for you.

Because the people building wealth don’t think differently because they’re rich.

The hardest thing on your list is the thing quietly running your whole day.

You know the one. The task you keep sliding to the bottom.

Every hour you avoid it, it gets heavier. It sits behind everything else you do.

So do it first. Before the emails. Before the busywork. Before the day fills up with reasons to put it off.

Once it’s done, the rest of the day tilts downhill. Not because the other work got easier. Because the weight is gone.

The people who move fast aren’t doing more than you. They just stopped saving the worst for last.

Some people spend thirty years being loyal to a security that was never theirs to keep.

A paycheck feels safe because it is steady. You show up, you do it right, and the money arrives. But steady and safe are not the same thing.

Anything another person hands you, another person can take back. One budget meeting. One new manager. One decision made in a room you were not in.

What you build and own works differently. No single person holds the switch, because the switch is yours.

A vision only ever belongs to one person. That person is you.

When the people you love can’t see what you’re building, it stings in a specific way, because you expected them to be the ones who understood.
But they are not looking at what you are looking at. You are standing somewhere they have never stood, describing a place they have not seen yet.

Their confusion isn’t doubt about you. It’s distance from a thing that was only ever yours to see first.
