Another year older, another year colder🦋

I feel like I’ve really been in a state of constant change. Everyday just stopping to smell the roses and really appreciate the little things that God and life has to offer. I’ve come very far and I’m so proud of myself. Really learning to give myself grace. recognize all my accomplishments and simply just enjoy life. Happy birthday to me. It’s been a long, trying 4 years but I couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support. I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming, what I’ve accomplished and what I will continue to push for. I deserve every blessing coming my way. Done with the B.S.✌🏽👩🏽‍🎓

Graduating a Social Work major & an Art minor, I can’t wait to see what’s yet to come💐.

To my son, my bean…
These last 9 months were nothing short of amazing. Holding you in my arms, hearing you cry, your tiny hands… and somehow you made the whole world go quiet for a second. You are our answered prayer, our soft place, our greatest creation, the best blessing. Baby boy, you were worth every kick, every tear, every sleepless night, every prayer whispered at 3am, all the sickness, cravings and more. The world just got a little warmer because you’re in it. I vow to be the best mom I can be and always guide and protect you to the best of my abilities. Can’t wait to be at your games, watching spider man together and come home to nerf wars. Welcome to the world, my son. We’ve been waiting for what feels like forever. 🧸💙

To mi amor, watching you become a father has been one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. Through every appointment, every fear, every hard moment, and every prayer, you never stopped loving me through it all. Thank you for holding me together when I felt overwhelmed, for being patient with me, all the sickness and holding my hair, for rubbing my feet, getting steak and cooking it whenever I needed you too lol. Calming my anxiety, making me laugh, and standing beside me through this entire journey. Hearing your voice while bringing our son into this world is something I’ll carry with me forever. Just to think we met in high school 8 years ago, scared to talk to one another and now we’re here🖤. Now we have a little piece of us here earthside, and I couldn’t ask for a better man to do life and parenthood with. Our baby boy is already so loved because of the father you are.

Happy teachers appreciation to the flyest and all my other fly, hardworking, amazing educators.
