Stories of Our Youth:
New Zealand

When it’s all said and done there will always be dreams to chase and memories to reminiscence. But each second right from this moment on is a chance for us to wonder, to experience and to live!

If you could catch a glimpse of what I’ve seen in each pair of eyes, it is to gain permission to their stories, some of which will forever remain untold. Moments no camera could ever fully capture…

When you decided to detour so hard you end up seeing a friend in Thailand from New Zealand before finally flying back home to Canada 🇨🇦

or maybe just an extra reason to travel another country 😂

First Summer back home in 3 years 🇨🇦🍁

I honestly did not know what to expect after my brain chemistry changed over the last 2 years backpacking Australia, NZ & Thailand. Even since I’ve returned, it’s not what I expected but really I knew that I would feel this way… Another chapter in the books! Let’s see where the rest of this year takes me!

Stuck in-between two different lives…

The soaring dreams in the clouds above to the reality grounded in stability down below.

The duality that plagues us all…

Things are great when they go according to plan! But it is when they don’t where you are challenged to appreciate the finer details and getting a little lost along the way! Panorama Ridge had been a bucket list item of mine for about 5 all to see nothing but a wall clouds What made up for the disappointment and a broken camera was being able to find pockets of beautiful moments that would have been overlooked if I only came for the bigger picture.

There is something to be said for wanting to get lost in nature. It brings a unique kind of gratitude, one that gets you to step away from the grind we all get so caught up in.

Since I’ve returned home from travel half a year ago, I’ve found it’s really easy to be transient and look ahead towards my next big adventure.

As I slowly ground myself here in the heart of Whistler and make my way up each trail, I began to rediscover that spark of curiosity I felt was missing.

Here are some snippets of my tendency is to always make my friends look like they’re part of a movie that is my life lol… do I do too much? Maybe but at least it’s cinematic! New Zealand edition 🇳🇿

So much content to put together, be on the look out for my YouTube vid on my travels to Australia, New Zealand and Thailand the last 2 years!
