Rest in peace, Weasles (2011–2026).

Sad to say my lovely ginger boy passed away today, unexpectedly but peacefully.

He had a fine outdoor life for 15 years on the island, and as many days with a safe city view.

I thought we’d have a few more years of Glasgow life to share, but alas, the last of his nine lives is gone.

Sleep well, bodach. x by @mike.thecroft

Absolute best of afternoons with Mara and the legendary Parker and @susa_l_d. Met so many dog lovers as the island pup learns to become a city girl. A few skittish moments but Parker’s street smarts were an inspiration ❤️ by @mike.thecroft

An emotional wee morning, leaving the islands after 15 years. Crofting, weaving, writing, art, music, gin, whisky… I did what I came here to do. I hope, in some small way, I’ve helped put a little more of this wonderful place on the map through the work, the words and the stories. I’ll continue to do that, just from somewhere else for a while. Tìoraidh an-dràsta. by @mike.thecroft
