I was consistently posting on my blog a few years ago but never shared it. I started posting each Friday with a little bit about my weekly happenings. I post art work in progress and art that I don’t put into my portfolio. by @mike086

15 years ago I was a full time professional haunter at @houseoftorment in Austin, TX 💀 I did production design, costume fabrication, performance coaching, and scaring. We used to have to do morning news segments, this would involve waking up around 3-4am to be live for 6-7. I sculpted my own prosthetic from a casting of my face and the make up took me about 3 hours to apply. This is my brother @hyenafleas and I in a behind the scenes video from one of those segments. We used to stay in character for the whole segment, not even talking before or after the segment to the anchor people in the studio. I still love Halloween, but I haven’t been to a haunted attraction in over a decade. It’s hard to go through and know how everything works, when people are supposed to jump out and how the magic happens. House of Torment is now one of the largest haunted attraction companies in the world. Have a great season haunters and as always, good hunting. #hauntactor #hauntlife #hauntmakeup #haunt #hauntedhouse by @mike086
