Sorry for the Delay… the votes are in!!! The search for the Fall/Winter cover of Belocal Frederick is now complete! 🤣💕📸

This time we had over 20 submissions, narrowed down to the top 12 and over 400 votes came in between Insta and Facebook. There were three images that stood out to the voters and received the most votes but this one prevailed. The winning photo chosen is this beautiful vibrant sunset shot of Fall trees, the spires, carillon and more overlooking the City. The ambers, reds, yellows and greens say Fall in a big way. And add the rip through the sky and it gives wow factor no matter how many times you see it. 🌞 ❤️ 🌸

There were so many amazing ones to choose from that share the picturesque landscapes of Frederick! We are truly lucky to live in such a beautiful town.

Our winning photographer, Michael DeMattia is a regular contributor of amazing captures all around Frederick City. This breathtaking drone shot overlooking the heart of our town -- our Downtown District, Baker park and Spires is something to gaze at over and over. 🍂🍁

...And it was chosen the favorite for the 2026 Fall/Winter BeLocal Frederick Cover! 🙌🏻
