They always say time will heal, but this one cuts deeper than I could ever put into words. Nothing can ever truly prepare you for losing someone you love.
I grew up with Cody, and truly, he was like a brother to me. I’ll never forget walking into 4th grade scared and nervous about living somewhere new. Cody came straight up to me, introduced himself, and from that moment on, we became best friends/brothers.

We went through so many ups and downs together. We experienced so much of life side by side and got to witness each other through every chapter. No matter what life brought our way, we were always there for each other when we needed it most.

We made so many incredible memories together, memories that I will carry with me and cherish for the rest of my life. I’m forever grateful that I got to call you my friend, my brother, and a part of my life.

These Athletes came in ready and determined to hit this routine! We had a stressful and crazy 2 weeks leading up to the comp, but this team pulled it together on the mat. We always say, “a bad practice and a bad warm up doesn’t define what you are going to do on that mat!” They definitely showed that yesterday with an electrifying performance. What an amazing weekend! We finished in 1st place with a score of 97.8 for Day 2! We also received a SUMMIT WILD CARD BID! This year was the first year we did in house choreography for the team and I don’t regret it at all. These girls have worked so hard and have pushed through so much adversity. Thank you for always being attentive and respectful. Truly a dream team to coach this year! So proud of all of these athletes! Seeing them compete the skills they have been training for all summer fills my heart with joy. When people ask me “why do I coach?” It’s for moments like these. This past weekend we competed worlds together. If there was a word that would describe our relationship it would be FUN. Every second I spend with him is second of my life I wish I could get back. Most of the time I spend my life with my eyes closed due to laughter and great conversation. He is my best friend and someone who picks me up when I’m down. My favorite memory is competing at worlds together and me looking at him and saying, “you got this baby!” I believe in everything he does and support everything he does. He spends day and night putting his 100% in every team he works with. He is the definition of a selfless coach. I can’t wait for more years of more memorable memories with you!
