OK we getting ready over here - only TWO weeks until the first gig of the CASA SUEÑO I-5 Tour - and I am *psyched* to make the new music with @agrapedope & @wattfrompedro - YEP! in the meantime, I know many folks on this here 'platform' like lookin at things, as i do, so its as good a time as any to share a brief tour through my music making area - Trooper is not coming along, sad to say 🐕 1. the full deal ('55 Fender Pro out of frame not coming along...) 2. The new & improved @saul_koll_guitars chambered Tornado with the new and improved pickups from @geminipickups - WAY into these. Sporting @daddarioandco XT 11's... 3. The new and improved @bensonamps Redland 35 Reverb Head and 2x12 - I have so many great things to say about this amp it probably should get its own post someday... 4. The pedalboard - now on an actual pedalboard by @daddarioandco again, with their cabling used all throughout (Thanks guys!!). The chain is: @tcelectronic Polytune 3 > @creepyfingerseffects Modern Sound (Thanks Brad!) > @jimdunlopusa Crybaby Classic > @bensonamps Germanium Boost > @mxr.innovations Phase 45 > @way.huge.electronics Red Llama > @fulltoneusa Spa Trem 2 (which i esp. love as a panner if i get to use 2 amps like the benson + the Pro, but not happenin this trip!) > @chasebliss Onward >... 5. ...>The side proj: @expeditionelectronics 60 Second Deluxe (I should probably do a separate tour of this piece someday too, the hands down best modern replica of the 16 second digital delay going, +more... happy this exists - thanks David!) > @strymonengineering EC-1 (truly the only pedal I have found that NAILS the EP-2 (tube echoplex) preamp, which is substantially different than the much lauded EP-3 preamp...) 6. Arguably the most important part of the setup: @daddarioandco XT 11's on the electrics here, much whammy and bending and picking and gnarling and gentle caressing is coming at these strings soon, it sure is nice not to have to worry about anything using these! 7. JUST ANNOUNCED! 11.18 - Mike Baggetta & Eli Winter Double Solos Tour “Mike Baggetta is a player of immense subtlety across all dimensions, working with an impressive palette of tones … distilling Robert Fripp’s loopscapes with hints of John Fahey.” -The Wire, UK “Eli Winter’s second turn as bandleader unfolds like a sky bleeding exhaust fumes, alternating pedal steel waltzes and jazz-burnt fuzz bombs. The record starts with an ecstatic riff on a Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell tune and doesn’t really let off the gas.” — NPR 6PM DOORS // 8PM SHOW 21+ *Full food & beverage menu available during show* Tickets on sale now! taken in Icehouse MPLS by @mikebaggetta
