ANNOUNCING → Honeysmack (Live on the Dancefloor) — Revolver Fridays

David Haberfeld, aka Honeysmack, is a pioneer of Australia's electronic & techno scene, renowned for raw, improvisational hardware live sets fusing Acid, Techno & experimental sound. A defining force since the 90s, he brings a punk ethos to live techno - thriving on spontaneity, intensity and a hands-on approach to sound.

This is not DJing. Using drum machines, synths & modular gear, he builds music entirely in real time - no pre-made tracks, no safety nets. Each set is unrepeatable, driven by instinct and shaped through interaction with machines and the dancefloor.

Performing across Australia, Europe & the US, Honeysmack continues to redefine what live techno can be.

You may have heard these names before… T-Rek & Mike Callander ring a bell, anyone? 📆🦖

'I’ve Done Worse Things To Better People’s Music'(Collaborations & Associations 2008–2021) is a compilation of collabs between the two, spanning over a decade of studio sessions, remixes and underground releases.

What started in 2008 as @mikecallander asking @t_rek_fsdproductions to help finish some early productions quickly turned into a long-running creative partnership - one that’s shaped plenty of dancefloors over the years. Many of these tracks were previously only available on vinyl or tucked away on DJ platforms, now reworked and remastered into one place.

To celebrate the release, they’re going 3hr back-to-back in the cage tomorrow night alongside @mutantexample, @kiti808, @_yugo_b & @asteriamelb 🐍🍎

Available now on all streaming platforms via Freakshow Disco Productions.
