PAX DAY 2.5

I'm always asked "Are you going to this event or that event?" and my answer is generally always the same. No.

As the years go on, the social events start to become taxing, and a little bit trivial. I don't want to spend every waking minute of PAX networking. I like to switch off.

Which is why hanging out with friends is so important to me. This group of legends are always the most fun and after a night out with them, my cup is full... and my liver is poisoned.

Thank you all for being you.

I had completely forgotten that I had backed @continuemagazine on @kickstarter, so I was pleasantly surprised when issue 01 arrived on my doorstep.

And boy, is this publication gorgeous. From the textured, matte cardstock cover, to the heavy GSM interior pages, Continue Magazine is a sight to behold. Print quality aside, the subject matter is penned and/or illustrated by titans within the video game industry. I'd be here all day listing them all but the likes of @allymhennessy, @r.ubyinnes, @alanahpearce, and @jkcrosbyfun are amongst the ranks.

Continue Magazine is reminiscent of A Profound Waste of Time, yet unapologetically Australian.

Issue 01 is available via cool cats like @pixelcrib and @acmionline. There's simply no excuse to not grab a copy. And if there is an excuse, I won't hear it!

While you're here reading this, tag @continuemagazine and tell them that they should get me in for issue 02. Just sayin'!

Inside me there are two wolves...
One has me wishing that I was a 4'11" Canadian with adamantium claws (I'm Australian, and I lack claws).
The other? Me wishing that I wasn't deathly terrified of heights, and owned a Batmobile.

I was financially responsible during PAX weekend, so I treated myself.

I had a whale of a time at the Melbourne premiere screening of WHALEFALL. My review will be up at @wallofsoundau once the embargo lifts.

Thank you to @20thcenturystudios_aunz for the invite! I'll never get tired of seeing movies in Apex. And thank you to @elixarya for coming along.

Another PAX in the books!
This year my third year as a content creator, and I still pinch myself over the opportunity.

I can't wait for PAX 2027!

Thank you to @paxaus and @rocketcommsanz for inviting me along!

Everyone loves free swag at PAX!
So, find me for free bumper stickers and con packs!
These are strictly limited, and only available while stock lasts.

If you don't know what I look like or who I am (how dare you?!), I'm the guy with the Beyond Horror cap. But I'm short, so maybe look down a little bit.

See you there!
