Spent a solid month on the road with @modestmouse and @blackheartprocession for GNFPWLBN 20th anniversary tour and had an unforgettable and epic time with a rock solid crew #apgI was a one-man video department handling R&D, programming, LED Wall, Imag & VJing and trained our PM Paul Villareal to set up, operate and switch our six PTZs, elevating the experience and freeing me up for more visual creativity.It was a lot of work to do mostly alone, but I loved every second. Touring is very hard on one’s body and mind — missed both my kids’ birthdays, Halloween and a musical they performed in, but luckily their mom is awesome, so they dealt with it super well.I was lucky to be surrounded by talented, intelligent and vibrant characters on all sides, and that definitely helped keep morale up when I was missing my family, my bed, my workstation, my fridge and all of my nerd toys. Our TM @robinlaananen was an absolute beast and really set a standard in my head of how it “should be” on the road vs previous experiences.The bands themselves were great company, all very kind and warm people that made you feel seen, which doesn’t always happen on tour with legendary acts. The venues were varied and cool, the hotels were by far the best I’ve been put up in, the bus driver was amazing — it was just a damn solid operation. Infinite kudos to punk poet extraordinaire Mr. Issac Brock and everyone he surrounds himself with.Big fucking thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that trusted me to show up for this role 🤘 @gatewayproductionsinc #floaton by @mikeflex_art

2024 was insane 🤯 Huge shoutout to all the incredible artists and touring production companies that put their faith in me to helm the live video wall & IMAG experience at the highest levels. I couldn’t have done it without such skilled and resilient team members, amazing venue staff and local crews, or the hardware and software devs that simply make what I do more fun every single day. I was blessed to serve in a number of high-octane video roles throughout the year including VJ, TD, Camera Director, LED Lead, Media Server Programmer and PTZ/Cam Shader/Switcher, sometimes all at once 😅 On the studio side of things, I handled systems R&D, programming, animation, rendering and editing whenever necessary…whatever you need, I gotchu.It’s hard to express how much gratitude I feel, and how deeply these memories will be cherished. I’m looking forward to continuing to develop these relationships and be THE go-to when it’s time to develop and/or execute seamless jaw-dropping stage visuals 💪 Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for a truly unforgettable year in so many epic venues across the country. The final dates of @thebandghost Skeleta World Tour in Mexico City were as surreal as can be. The entire venue was literally shaking from the intensity of the crowd’s energy! The singalongs were deafening, the sea of smiles (and tears of happiness) was endless, and the camaraderie and kindness of the 👻 community is simply unmatched.I must say, the warnings for gringos are true: beware Montezuma’s Revenge 😵‍💫 We are quite lucky that everyone was so understanding about having to cancel the first show last minute…Papa with food poisoning is no bueno 🤢 It’s challenging not to feel a bit heartbroken to see it end, as I will miss each and every one of my tour mates dearly…but the memories will never fade!Thanks to tour photographer extraordinaire @ryancphoto for always capturing the profound epicness so perfectly 🤘 by @mikeflex_art

It’s been hard to post this because there are simply not enough words to describe the honor and privilege it is to be a small part of something so grand and special as @thebandghost Each night I’m trusted to steer the @disguise_one ship and ensure every epic performance is a pixel perfect, seamless immersive experience, but I wouldn’t be able to do any of it without the tireless efforts of so many skilled and dedicated artisans.This crew is like a family — the time between tour legs spent away from this unique and deeply talented cast of characters is bittersweet. We championed our way through 51 shows in Europe and the USA, and now we meet once again in Mexico City for our final shows of the tour.
