Some of you will be shocked to see a post from me, but I do know the power of social media and wanted to get the word out and hopefully your support. I can’t do this with the number of followers I have :-), but I know the power of reposting. If you feel compelled to repost, please do. I am running for Roseville, CA City Council, District 4, which is the district where I live. You can find your district by clicking on: https://www.roseville.ca.gov/city_clerk/elections/find_my_district.php (link in bio). The district covers parts of Roseville 2nd, 5th (very little of my own), 6, 7th and 9th wards (IYKYK). This is not something I was planning on doing, but when my political party reached out seeking someone and I learned my opponent had been a city employee across a few cities for over 40 years and running unopposed, I felt compelled to throw my name in the hat as an outsider with private sector experience. Cut me some slack on the website design as I am bootstrapping this on my own with some help from AI. The best way you can assist is just by getting the word out with your neighbors if you live in district 4. A council member is a non-partisan position so there will not be an R or D by any candidate’s name, however, the parties are involved, and I will be promoted by the Republican Party via mailers, etc. If anything, this has been quite a learning experience. Thankful for Jan saying yes and for the subsequent 32 years that has resulted in the family in the 2nd pic. First of all I am an American. I am also a Republican who voted for trump. I am disappointed that he lost but I want nothing but continued success for Biden, his administration, and our country. I respect people with different beliefs than I have. If you want a President to fail you are the one that should reassess your principles and priorities. #usa #givethanks by @mikefranks84

I am thankful for a relatively good economy despite the challenges of 2020. I know this doesn’t mean that everyone is thriving and in fact many are hurting, but in general it is better for all that the markets are doing well versus the opposite. #givethanks taken in United States by @mikefranks84

I am thankful for my knowledge of the mission of Jesus Christ. That He is the Son of God. That because of Him death has no victory but we can live again. And, if we accept Him and follow His example of baptism, we can overcome sin and return and live with our Heavenly Father. I don’t post often because I am not a big fan of social media but I am a big fan of @russellmnelson who I believe is a prophet of God on the earth. He has asked that we post things we are grateful for over the next week and that is a commandment I can keep. I am thankful for my parents Lynn and Carolyn Franks who gave me my mortal life and who loved and provided for me and my siblings. They provided a sure foundation that I could build on throughout my life. Thanks Mom and Dad. I love you.
