Had the absolute best day getting grimey, dirty, sweaty, stung, bitten and wet at Wild Things Farm, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) and biodiversity regeneration project.Balsam Weed is an invasive plant that grows quickly and aggressively on the river banks but dies back every winter with shallow roots. This leaves the banks exposed to soil erosion. Swathes of the weed were removed with space left for native plants to take its place.#bristolphotographer #fujifilm #documentaryphotography by @mikefrench_photographer

This person stood quietly observing the gathering of the march. Other than a subtle rainbow wristband, nothing about their appearance suggested how they identified which caught my attention. For some, Pride is a day to be vocal, loud and proud, but for others it is a day of quiet reflection, perhaps exploring and seeing where they fit into the movement.#pride #lgbtq #bristolphotographer #leica by @mikefrench_photographer

I'm a bit all over the place with what I'm photographing at the moment, but is that a problem? I'm sure the algorithm won't like it. I'm sure people hunting for 'success' on Instagram won't like it either, but I do. I'm enjoying a bit of creative freedom and using my camera as a vehicle to get out more.Neither do I really care about Insta-success, whatever that is, because in 5 years time, it's all going to be the next thing anyway.This is probably my favourite image of the year so far.#bristol #bristolphotographer #xpro1 by @mikefrench_photographer
