Shifting with Solomun at 528

Last night was mega. What a party !

But aside from dancing in pure celebration alongside some beautiful people & many friends from all around the world, something bigger happened on that dance floor. I was able to rewrite more than a decade-long negative script that’s been clouding my perception.

This is a 14-year story about perspective. About credibility. About what it means to be a part of someone’s journey, even if only for a chapter of it.

Empty Tables in Ibiza

In Ibiza, it’s not often you find prime spot tables, beds & booths available, especially not in peak season… unless of course, you work with someone like ourselves who have the contacts & relationships to make special arrangements happen for you.

Over the last month, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming our guests as they arrive to fully booked venues, at peak hours, with a front row, best view, reserved area on hold for them.

The Legacy Continues

Long before Instagram began, two lovers who lived for the scene shared a dream. A crazy idea to buy a GoPro and document an Ibiza season quickly evolved into hiring film crews and self funding a Travel & Entertainment series.

From South Africa to Ibiza, London to Australia, we dedicated our days & nights to interviewing industry icons, documenting destinations, capturing & sharing the lifestyle we loved.

As many of you know, a LOT has changed since then, some painful chapters, some powerful and transformational ones. But the legacy lives on, and the content is still strong.

So, as there was no instagram when we began, we’re opening this page to share highlights & history from the archives. This is the very first trailer Lucky Life TV released in 2010 with footage from our early adventures across Ibiza & South Africa.

Last week, Lucky Life TV was honoured to meet with 20 of the most important voices in Ibiza’s music scene - to celebrate an institution that has shaped and shared the sound of this island since 2006.

We asked one question. “What’s your highlight from 20 years of Ibiza Sonica?”

The answers were funny, emotional, unexpected, and multilingual.
