Here are the two drawings-for-auction for tonight, the final night of the MK/BFD September 2026 Californian Jambouree, here at the sizzling Baked Potato:

1) this is “Frens” which was the drawing for set two of last night but it didn’t move so it’s making another appearance…is it not good? Too hippie? I like it, dammit - maybe someone takes it tonight

2) the actual hand-drawn tour poster for this very tour hits the auction block!!

I’ve seen people asking about bidding on these (or other drawings) online - if I leave tonight with one or both of these I’ll figure out an online mechanism to bid on them, and I’ll also think about doing this sort of thing online in the future

It’s been an amazing run of gigs. So glad we get to play one more night. Not to mention it’s Coltrane’s 100th birthday, and Ian Underwood is in the audience by @mikekeneally

The first drawing-for-auction for tonight’s sets at the Baked Potato is the first picture, “Numbiss” - here in the second photo, Frank Briggs is seen a few mere moments after bidding on it. As of this writing the drawing is still up for bids. The final photo is of the drawing-for-auction for set two tonight, called “Frens.” by @mikekeneally

Using this really nice photo, taken by Dan Chusid at the Bornemann a couple of nights ago, to alert you that THE FINAL TWO NIGHTS OF THE SEPTEMBER 2026 MK/BFD CALIFORNIA JAUNT are upon us, Tuesday and Wednesday this week at THE BAKED POTATO, our LA home away from home (that's Sep 22 and 23, 2026, in case you're reading this seven years in the future). Two nights, two sets per night, with a lot of setlist variation from set one to set two on both evenings.

The guys in the band have been completely heroic this month, both at the gigs and at the recording sessions in LA last week. This is a fiery moment in BFD history - come on out to the Spud and experience it, you shall not regret, I vow.

Hey people in the San Diego region, let’s hang out! We’re at the beautiful Bornemann Theater in San Marcos tomorrow night - Travis Larson goes on at 7pm and we follow thereafter. We’ve just spent a couple of days in the recording studio making new stuff and some of it will be performed tomorrow along with a bunch of old faves. See you? There?
