Rainbow Serpent tattoo! This one was such a challenge, but I had an absolute blast doing it. Thank you to Annie, who always gets the coolest tattoos, sits like a rock and is incredibly patient with me. I truly have the best clients. Done at @thegildedgoblintattoo

The Forest Spirit (or Shishigami) in Princess Mononoke is the supreme god of the ecosystem. Often referred to as the Deer God, it governs the cycle of life and death. The spirit is speechless and animalistic, symbolizing the untamable, unknowable, and awe-inspiring force of nature. Princess Mononoke tattoo, Studio Ghibli by @mikeknot
