I've been getting a lot of questions recently on my process! Initial concepts are done in Photoshop. 3ds Max is for 3d modeling and unwrapped. My textures are done in Photoshop and the final render was presented in Marmoset Toolbag.

A 3D environment study based on one of @haryarti 's concepts that I absolutely adore!! This was done as my final for my Texture Painting class with Brandon Ray while I was at LCAD, so it was done in about 6 weeks! I changed the 350z to a TSX—one of my friends has one and I had tons of pictures references for it! I used 3ds Max, 3Dcoat, Photoshop, and Paint Tool Sai!

If i were to redo this, I would model less, and use more alpha cards. I learned a lot from doing this, and have improved greatly since!! Again, thank you Igor for letting me post this, greatly inspired by your work 😭🙏🏻💕

A hand painted Vietnamese river boat guided by a dragon spirit, but anchored in human calm and intention.

Chiếc Ghe Rồng holds a special place in my heart. I wanted to create a piece imbued with my Southeast Asian heritage, as I feel it is underrepresent in much of the media I consume. My main inspirations were sampans/river boats, dragons, and lotus flowers. I wanted to focus on creating a bright, warm piece that would bring any viewer at ease, but at a second glance, raise their warriness at the sharp, claw-like rocks behind.

Many thanks to my teachers and mentors for guiding me through this journey: Allan Huang, Alexander Gonzalez, Brandon Ray, and Phillip Zhang. And, of course, thank you to my friends, family, and peers who have supported me through the creation of this piece.

Got a little nostalgic watching the new Worlds MV drop, so I wanted to share a study I did from the RISE music video :) this was my final gouache study for my Figure and Portrait painting class a couple years back. Haven't touched gouache since... I probably should tho

ALSO I don't know what demon possessed me to draw in black borders 😭😭😭 it looks terrible and I regret it lol

ALSO ALSO,,, went to Filipinos at Riot Karaoke night and got a really cool Worlds vinyl.. just in time for worlds next month!!
