This year wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. A promotion, a move to LA, and a full reset. Today I’m grateful for every part of the journey. 🎂 taken in Los Cabos, Mexico by @mikesaddler11

I’m excited and proud to finally announce that I’ve been promoted to Head of my department for the West Coast! I am relocating to Los Angeles. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. This will be my fourth major relocation. For the past 6 months, I’ve known about this opportunity, and it’s been very stressful. But deep down, I know I made the right choice for my growth, both in my career and personal life. It’ll allow me to be more stationary while still getting to travel enough to fulfill my exploration curiosity.

It’s definitely bittersweet to leave my family and friends back in Texas. But this is an opportunity I can’t pass up, and I’m ready to embrace the challenges ahead. I’m really looking forward to this new chapter in my career, and I promise to stay connected with all of you. I’m just a flight away! I’m supposed to relocate by June 1st, so I hope to see some of you before I go. It’ll be tough because I’m always on the move, but I’ll do my best! by @mikesaddler11

This trip was exactly what I needed to reset and refocus. Sometimes, stepping away from the daily grind helps you see things from a new perspective. I’m heading back to work with a positive outlook and a deeper appreciation for everything I’ve taken for granted. Feeling refreshed and ready to take on new challenges!
