I’ve fallen out of favor and I’ve fallen from grace
Fallen out of trees and I’ve fallen on my face
Fallen out of taxis, out of windows too
Fell in your opinion when I fell in love with you.

During this sunrise, I had the strangest glimpse that I had a son sitting in my front seat and he had just woken up during our short road trip. When I heard his waking breath, I gently whispered, “Good morning, bud. Sun’s coming up. I think it’s going to be a good one.” He would know the day was his and I would have his back no matter what. I can’t wait to be that type of optimistic father. #sky #clouds #sunrise #tacomadome #orange #blue #red #purple #highway #morning #fatherhood by @mikesweets

We’re sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick
We’re sick for the big sun
We rumble and trip, trip, trip, trip, trip, trip, trip
I realize that too.

Hope you had a great holiday!

“This is the true joy in life, being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one. Being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as Ilive, it is my privilege to do for it what I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible
before handing it on to future generations.”

I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see

I spent too much time wondering about being worthy. I was busy contemplating would the next thing be good enough. I then remembered who I am. Thank you for your patience. #mikesweets #sky #clouds #present by @mikesweets
