Our first stop in Bali was Seminyak, one of the island’s more stylish and vibrant destinations. We spent four nights at the beautiful Pelangi Hotel, perfectly located close to the beach, shops, and local markets, while still feeling a little more peaceful than some of the surrounding areas. Our days were filled with temple visits, a stop at the Monkey Forest, surfing, massages, and plenty of time soaking up the sun. I even managed to squeeze in a few runs along the promenade and beachfront. One of the highlights was enjoying dinner and local Bintang beers at the beachfront warungs while watching the sun dip below the horizon. Bali sunsets really do hit differently.
