Happy 10th Birthday Hayden.

To think it’s been 10 years since you’ve been in my life is crazy. I’ll never forget where I was and what I was doing when I got the news I was gonna be a dad. I cried and thought my life was over. I was 23 at the time and working at a company that was closing its doors. I didn’t know how we would do it but we did, and here we are 10 years later. You have an old soul and are wise beyond your years. I love you to death, you’re my best friend. I can’t wait to see where the next ten years takes us. by @miketiede13

Hayden got his grey belt today. I couldn’t be more proud of this kid and his commitment to Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you to everyone at Gracie, especially Mitch and James. I appreciate you guys. by @miketiede13

Happy 7th birthday to my best friend. I enjoy seeing the little man you’ve become. I used to think I was funny until you started getting your own personality, you’re the funniest kid I know and it shows, everyone loves you. Update: Yesterday we ended up taking everything to Child Haven. Tonight 300 kids will each get to pick a toy from what was donated by all of you guys. After spending some time with the lady who runs the donation center there at child haven, I realized what we’re doing is amazing but it’s never going to be enough. These kids who are in foster care sometimes still don’t get the care and love they deserve and that some of these foster parents don’t necessarily have the means to take care of these kids as we all do our own. Every bit counts but I am going to make a conscious effort to donate clothes and other needs year round. Again thank you to everyone who donated, every single person at the facility was blown away by your generosity and wanted me to thank you all. by @miketiede13

Here I am showing my son what it is to give back. This wasn’t me, this was all of you guys. I want no credit for any of this so everything will be donated under his name. The Toy drive isn’t really over, I will be dropping all of this off this Sunday @98.5kluc toy drive. I still have a bunch of toys to buy Sunday after we get out order count in but thus far we’ve reached 54 bikes and 544 toys. For size reference you’re looking at 52 bikes in this photo, two have yet to be picked up. by @miketiede13

So far the toy drive has been a massive success (day 2). I can’t thank you guys enough. If anyone would like to donate, please send me a DM. This is all being donated on behalf of my 6 year old son to a local toy drive. I personally have invested $1500 of my own money into this just to kick start this entire thing because I wanna help as many kids as possible. I remember being taken away from my mom as a child and being in Child Haven receiving a pair of Chuck Taylor’s, they were the first pair of new shoes I had gotten in a very long time and that moment stuck with me forever. So this is exactly why I’m giving back. I’m also donating 1 $20 dollar toy for every single order we get from now until December 10th. I’m not rich by any means but I’m more than capable of giving back to those in need. Thank you to all who have supported the cause, it truly means the world to me. Thank you !
