As we get older and celebrate you today I’m reminded that you remind me of home. That sense of safety and security and that feeling we had when we were kids and nothing mattered and everything was going to be ok. We’re not kids anymore but knowing I have a sister like you makes this life better. I hope you know how much we all love you and how much joy you bring into everyone’s life. My boy turns 4 today! 🎉 What a time we’ve had since I picked you up on August 23, 2022 and your name was Spencer then at only 8 weeks old. I’ve loved you for every second, we’ve been so many places together! Starting off with Louisville when it took me 45 minutes to get you into your bag to go through security. I knew then you were more of a car guy, so we hit places like Vegas, AZ, NM, TX, Nashville, Virginia Beach, NYC, Boston, Cape Cod, Philly, D.C and even napped on South Beach in Miami! My Mother! The Greatest Of All Time! Today we celebrate you! I’d be so lost without your endless lessons and endless support. For my entire life there hasn’t been a time when you weren’t there for me. Even the times when I didn’t deserve it, you constantly show up for not only me (your favorite child) but everyone in your life. The unconditional love you show everyone but especially your kids and family is something to be recognized not only today on your special day but forever and always. ALWAYS standing by me to love and lift me. Even there to give me a swift kick in the ass because we all know I need that usually on a weekly basis. Happy Birthday, Mom! The last day of 2016 I brought my girl Maggie home for the first times. I looked a lot younger and made duck lip faces (it was a thing) I met Denzel Washington on set! I drove an F-250. On April 13th Kobe played his final game at the then Staples Center and dropped 60 on em after playing 20 incredible years with the purple and gold. Rest easy Kob, I still think about you all the time. We used E350 Maxi vans because Transits weren’t a thing yet and I got a cool pic of Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche at a car show in Pebble Beach and I visited my best girls in Ohio a lot more often. Not too shabby by @mikey_hell818

Yesterday wasn’t the best day for Miss Maggie Moo 🐮 after dropping her off to have surgery on her knee (second knee in the last two years) they told me they didn’t recommend doing the surgery since they found two masses in her bladder and the vet said he didn’t want to put her through the knee surgery and the intense recovery since there’s no telling what these masses will do in the months to come. I know one thing we will have the best days for as many more days we have left together. You’ve been my best friend for almost 9 years and that won’t ever end. We’ve had so many adventures with each other and I know we can have a few more! You’re the best big sister to your little pal Jack (I know he’s a bit of a nut) but we still love him too. I just don’t wanna believe it. STILL even after all these hours. My heart breaks for your family. You were and always will be my guy, since day 1. It was bigger than basketball. You’re ability to lead, you’re energy, your drive to be the best player, father, husband, philanthropist, whatever you wanted to do you were going to do and grind to do it to the best of your ability. I’ve learned so much from watching you and listening to you. You are this city of LA, you grew up here and I like many grew up with you. Countless memories on the court, I can’t even list them cause there’s just too many. I will always carry that mamba mentality with me in everything I do. I love you Kobe Bean Bryant, always!
