The side you rarely see who earns the trips & earned Key Leader (only few of 100).

Overshare/“story time with Mike”, but wouldn’t be possible w/out a convo w/ my mentor a few years ago. Was at a restaurant downtown Chi, hurting, & unsure of what I wanted in life. At dinner he grabbed my face (caused a scene) & said, “you’re a f***ing lie. You look/act confident but you’re just an unsure man. I wont compliment you again, but I’ve met thousands & know you’re the rare type that can have everything taken away & build it back. Believe that & never be sad over a girl or job that doesn’t deserve you.” He died a week later. That talk changed my life/confidence & without it I don’t know where I’d be today 🙏

Last advice he gave was write something you can read back to remind yourself who the f*** you are, here’s mine:

Maybe it’s my fault…

I made it look easy when it wasn’t.

Grew up in a 0 income family/food stamps, running an oven for heat, & rusted cars

1st memory is something out of a horror movie

I cried on walks to the car after watching mom put snacks back bc food stamps didnt cover it

4 yr old me had to hold my baby brother as parents screamed all night

I worked 30hr+ wks, went to school full time all while playing sports

They left by choice or was their time to go, but still had to grind while broke/broken

I dont talk/act/sound like a “successful businessman” to impress others

I dont brag about working 50+ hrs, play softball 3-4 nights, & workout 5 days/wk

I never had guidance til my late 20s & had to figure it out all on my own

Remember though, if you blame yourself for all that also blame yourself for… surviving, being where you are now, being self-made, never making excuses, being blessed enough to decline an offer for three time what you thought you’d ever earn, living with a free mind/heart by having the confidence to not feel the need to compare, realizing real success is going to sleep peacefully & waking up happy, accepting people, moving w/ genuine intentions, & being 100% absolutely unbreakable.

Blame yourself for it all, but remember where you are now & never forget where it all came from. by @mikeymoo_22

This may just look like a sign to most people, but to me, it represents so much more. 💚

It represents taking a chance on myself. Buying my first commercial property. Making one of the biggest career moves of my life. Choosing growth over comfort and trusting that sometimes the biggest rewards come from the biggest leaps.

After nearly seven months of waiting, the sign finally went up. And somehow, it couldn’t have happened on a more perfect day. Coincidentally, my Neighborhood Loans family was in town from Chicago, so they got to be here to see this milestone with me. It felt like the universe reminding me I made the right decision.

For the first time in a long time, everything feels aligned. This sign isn’t just outside a building it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, the risks that were worth taking, and the future I’m building.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and been part of this journey. This is only the beginning. ✨ taken in Melbourne, Florida by @mikeymoo_22
