🎹✨ #ForYourConsideration ✨🎹

Grammys® voting members, please consider these four submissions:

🎼 Best Contemporary Instrumental Album: Mikhail White, Keys Of Life, Vol. 2

🎹 Best Instrumental Composition: Mikhail White, “healing”

⚡ Best Dance/Electronic Recording: Mikhail White, “neon”

🤠 Best Americana Performance: Kristi B., “Untitled (Only You)”

These entries range from a solo piano ballad about vulnerability and resilience, to an electronic track with a tempo and key change, to a dreamy acoustic-forward song that blends pop, R&B and country.

Thank you for listening and for your consideration. 🙏🏾

Closing out Keys Of Life, Vol. 2 with “Amethyst” 💜

4:38 of unscripted solo piano improvisation layered with heavy electronic production. It starts with quiet, contemplative motifs, builds into a driving pulse, and peaks with polyrhythmic tension between the hands. Then it strips back to stillness.

For your consideration, GRAMMY® voters: Keys Of Life, Vol. 2 for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album.

#FYC Track Highlight: Cupid’s Heist

“Cupid’s Heist” from Keys Of Life, Vol. 2 swings between romantic vulnerability and playful, syncopated urgency. A delicate opening melody builds into a suspenseful, driving bassline. It then breaks open into a thundering climax before settling into a lingering, unresolved chord.

Solo piano. Pure contrast. Emotional peak of the EP and a pivot toward renewal.

It’s Music Advocacy Day, y’all!! 🙌🏼

The @grammys are great, but for me, today is the biggest day on the @recordingacademy calendar. Advocacy Day is all about working for positive change in the music industry, and today I was fortunate to join my fellow DC chapter member @mikhail_white_ in meeting with Bob Pryor of @repmcclellan ‘s office here in Richmond.

We had a great discussion about securing protections for all Americans — including music creatives! — from AI deepfakes and clones through passage of the No Fakes Act; advocated for accountability from AI companies with the TRAIN act; and asked Representative McClellan to bring her support to the Protect Working Musicians Act, which will allow independent artists to collectively bargain for fair compensation from streaming platforms and AI companies.

Many thanks to Mr. Pryor and Rep. McClellan for their willingness to listen and support the music community — we couldn’t do this without you!🙏🏼

#musicadvocate

Music Advocacy Day isn’t just for Academy members, 94 even just musicians!

If you love music, contact your representatives in Congress TODAY and ask them to protect human creativity by supporting the bipartisan No Fakes Act. Together we can get this DONE! taken in Richmond, Virginia by @mikhail_white_
