SPOILER 🚨 LONG POST - Reflections of my time on #GeniusGame

When I first entered Genius Game, I didn’t know what I was walking into - only that I’d be tested mentally and socially. What I didn’t expect was how deeply emotional this experience would be. Yes, I cried (a lot). But I’ve always been the kind of person who wears their heart right on their sleeve. Yet through every tear, I played hard. I played strategically. I played to win.

To make it to the finale - to have had to outplay nine brilliantly sharp, thoughtful, competitive people - it still feels surreal. These ten players? They are some of the most exceptional people I’ve met. I’m grateful to have played with them, learned from them, and grown beside them, especially outside of the game.

To those who’ve messaged, supported, and cheered me on - thank you, it really means a lot. I’ve read every word, and I’ve tried to reply to everyone I could. To the critics, the ones who saw me as “mean” or “manipulative” - My response is that it was a game. And I’m a deeply competitive person who played it fully. But game Charlotte isn’t real-life Charlotte. Real-life Charlotte cries when she thinks about her dad getting older. She cried while rewatching Episode 7, even though it’s one of the only episodes where she doesn’t cry onscreen, because she was just so, so proud of herself. And for a long time, feeling proud wasn’t something I felt allowed to do. They were not crocodile tears, as badass as that would be.

So yes, there were misunderstandings and the edits don’t truly capture who I think I am. But I accept all of it and surprisingly I wish I was more like who they portrayed: a strong, confident, cutthroat woman who would do anything for the win. I accept it all because I would never trade this experience for anything. And I wouldn’t change how I played, either. Not for a cleaner edit, not for a safer image, not even for public opinion.

Im always grateful for the chance to rewrite memories and try to understand what life is like when you live for yourself, which is what Paris was to me this time round.

So many feelings of nostalgia but I also left with a promise to myself that this is just a new chapter to be written!

Transported straight into Bridgerton~

A week of the 2026 ULLA Summer School held at the University of Geneva is now complete~ Got to experience many firsts ranging from presenting my PhD research to swimming in lakes after class. And, as with all my favourite life moments, making friends with people from all over Europe was the biggest highlight ✨ Also who knew that you didn’t need your passport to go from Switzerland to France. Crazy 🤯

Just have so much love to everyone especially @niks_marguerite and @neilcarolino for making the interviews super fun and humanised, my makeup connoisseur @glammedbyally, the one who made it all happen @woo.dennis for believing in me from the start and emailing me 🥹 and @cazzuchan for looking after us like her babies. The holiday blues away from all the candidates and staff are really hitting.

What a journey, a true once in a lifetime opportunity. A beautiful mix of incredible people, undeniable talent, and unforgettable moments.

Tested to the brink of our physical capabilities with early mornings and packed schedules. And yet I feel so privileged to have represented the United Kingdom and to have been backed by so many of the team.

Who couldve predicted the friendships formed over a mere two weeks. I leave with swollen eyes and a heavy heart thinking about not seeing everyone on the daily. As said throughout the competition, Im leaving the pageant with more than I arrived with and that is a win in itself.

Tyra and Ang, two incredibly deserving winners with hearts greater than one could imagine.
