Grateful to have had the privilege of shooting one of the most epic stunts in Australian history.

Can’t express how inspired I am by the whole team involved in pulling this off. A massive thanks to @allanhardy.acs for trusting me with the vision, and @parkwaydriveofficial and @hyperepublic for bringing me along by @mikisimans

Still coming down from the insanity this 24 hours was, forever grateful to be part of this iconic stunt with @parkwaydriveofficial and @hyperepublic!

While I wasn’t there to witness the main event, I was at the take off point with Winston and the heli team in charge of securing 6 go pros, an insta360, 2 audio recorders, and managing two 2 BTS cameras for handheld and gimbal. Coordinating the timing and coverage required of all these cameras had to be executed to perfection in the half an hour window before take off, while working around the helicopter team doing their thing and ensuring all rigged cameras were safe and secure.

The outcome of this shoot is the result of every member of the cast and crew doing their job to perfection, and being part of that team has been an honor!

Told myself at the start of the year I’d try to post more carousels as a chance to celebrate and remember the nice moments within the chaos, big and small. So far I’ve failed miserably, but this year’s definitely been one worth remembering.

Today I’ve had a rare day off, and spending it revisiting some of these moments has brought me a lot of joy. It’s also been overwhelming to try to whittle down 6 crazy months into a few photos, so consider this part one of however many others I feel like putting out

2 Sydney Opera House
3 A Warehouse
4 Suzuka
5 PWD Killing Horizons Tour
6 Polaris - Without Me Music Video

This is what happens when you miss a couple of crew dinners and keep editing instead 😅

Already one of my favourite 360 clips from the @parkwaydriveofficial Killing Horizons tour, until @thirdeyevisualsau jokingly said “it would be sick if it had the tabs in the background shooting across the screen”. Naively, I agreed it indeed would be sick.

After building the tab animation, I realised that tracking the camera would be a nightmare due to the flashing lights, and changing focal lengths/distortion profiles of the 360 camera, so after attempting every method of camera tracking in the book I decided to track and animate it manually.

Let me know if you think it was worth the effort!
